20A vs 100A vs 120A Solar Inverter Charging: Battery-Bank Size Explained

For solar inverter charging at the same battery voltage, 100A is five times 20A and 120A is six times 20A. With sufficient input power and a suitably rated battery bank, this higher current can charge proportionally more capacity within the same ideal constant-current time window.

Nexus Solar Energy confirms 100A-or-higher charging on supported INNO 9G and INNO 9G Pro models in its 3–15kW range. The exact maximum depends on the supplied model and power source. This guide explains what that capability means for battery-bank sizing and why the current label needs to be read with voltage, capacity and battery limits.

What a battery charging-current rating measures

Battery charging current is the current entering the bank. PV-input current belongs to the solar input, and AC-input current belongs to the grid/generator side. The voltages and conversion stages differ, so their ampere values cannot be exchanged directly.

An inverter can have separate solar, AC and combined charging limits. If a model’s combined limit is 120A, adding nominal source figures does not permit exceeding that combined limit. Use the model’s actual limits and the battery’s recommended charging current.

A worked example: two, ten and twelve batteries

For the following calculation only, assume identical 12V/200Ah batteries that are approved for the proposed bank, the same chemistry and temperature, and a 20% to 80% SOC window. The bank stays at nominal 24V. The table is an electrical illustration, not an installation wiring plan.

Calculation Reference Five times the capacity Six times the capacity
Battery arrangement for the calculation 2 in series, 1 string 2 in series, 5 parallel strings 2 in series, 6 parallel strings
Total battery count 2 10 12
Nominal bank voltage 24V 24V 24V
Bank capacity 200Ah 1,000Ah 1,200Ah
Capacity added over 20–80% SOC 120Ah 600Ah 720Ah
Total charging current 20A 100A 120A
Ideal constant-current estimate 6 hours 6 hours 6 hours

The reference calculation is 120Ah ÷ 20A = 6 hours. The larger-bank calculation is 720Ah ÷ 120A = 6 hours. With equal current sharing, each of the six strings in the last example receives 20A. The total charger current is 120A; every battery does not individually receive 120A.

The larger bank stores more energy, and the source must supply more energy during the charging window. The higher current makes that charging rate possible; it does not create extra energy.

Why the real charging time can differ

The example assumes constant current for its calculation. Actual lead-acid and lithium charging is affected by the battery’s charging profile, voltage limits, taper/absorption behaviour, temperature, losses and the selected SOC endpoint. Available solar varies, and running loads can use part of the input power.

For those reasons, use the table to understand relative bank size and current. A full-charge-time promise for a particular battery needs the actual battery specification and operating conditions. The familiar relationship remains useful: at the same voltage and comparable conditions, five times the charging current can support a five-times-larger bank over the same ideal charging window.

24V and 48V chargers with the same amps have different power

Battery-side current Power calculated at nominal 24V Power calculated at nominal 48V
20A 0.48kW 0.96kW
100A 2.40kW 4.80kW
120A 2.88kW 5.76kW

Actual charging voltage is not fixed at nominal voltage, and conversion losses add to the required input. A proper inverter comparison includes battery voltage, achievable charging power, available PV/grid supply and battery capacity. A current-only headline leaves out an important part of the design.

When moving from a 24V to a 48V system, the inverter and battery must be selected for the same supported voltage architecture. The battery arrangement is model-specific; this is not a reason to change an existing bank without its approved design.

Which charging limit wins?

The usable current is constrained by the inverter’s source and combined limits, battery manufacturer’s recommended charging limit, BMS charging limit, operating temperature and available source power. The active limit can therefore be lower than the value entered into the inverter menu.

Charging and discharging limits are different specifications. A battery described as capable of 100A continuous discharge does not automatically have a 100A recommended charge rate. For continuous discharge on the specified Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol premium battery packs, the routine recommendation is 0.5C; the charging setting follows the supplied battery’s actual charge specification.

If a battery bank supports communication with the inverter, match the actual battery/BMS protocol and firmware as well as voltage. Connecting a cable is not, by itself, a completed compatibility test.

Battery energy, reserve and backup time

Nominal stored energy is calculated as voltage × ampere-hours ÷ 1,000. A 51.2V/100Ah battery therefore has 5.12kWh nominal energy. If 60% of its nominal capacity is used in a simplified planning example, that corresponds to 3.072kWh of nominal energy before inverter losses and other operating effects.

Reserve settings decide how much energy is retained for an outage. A bank sized for evening tariff use should also account for whatever outage reserve is wanted. A 100A charging capability, by itself, says nothing about how many hours a particular house will run overnight.

For a basic relationship, divide usable AC energy by the actual average AC load. Keep starting demand and the inverter/battery continuous power limits as separate checks. A long backup target and a heavy instantaneous load can require different changes to the design.

Watch a practical source-and-load explanation

Watch the 5kW 24V daytime demonstration from 7:54. The presenter discusses solar generation and AC load in a visible battery-less setup. This is useful context for understanding that energy available at the source must cover the intended output.

Watch the two-AC demonstration from 5:22 for the relationship between changing appliance load and battery support. These clips explain source/load behaviour; the charging-time table above is a calculation, not a measured outcome from those clips.

For larger projects, the 15kW three-phase walkthrough from 4:27 discusses the role of batteries and starting loads. Match the actual battery and inverter ratings to the project.

Select the model around the complete installation

Start with the battery voltage and chemistry, capacity already installed or planned, permitted current, charging hours, available solar/grid power and simultaneous loads. Then choose the inverter and charging settings together.

For a current 24V model, see the DEV HYD 5kW product. Compare other hybrid inverter capacities when the battery architecture or load is different.

Nexus Solar Energy and Devsol assemble inverter products in India and provide local support routes. Deepak Chaudhary, CEO and CMD of Nexus Solar Energy, supplies the practical technical inputs behind the examples and presents the linked public demonstrations. Visit his official profile or contact the product team with the exact bank and load details for a suitable configuration.

Solar Inverter Manufacturers in India: Top 5 Brands Compared

For Indian buyers who need solar generation and battery backup together, our recommendation is the Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol hybrid range, selected by the exact load, battery voltage and installation location. The Nexus Solar Energy INNO 9G 3kW 24V IP54 suits a covered installation, DEV HYD 5kW 24V IP54 is a larger 24V option, and the Nexus Solar Energy 6kW 48V IP65 Dual MPPT is an outdoor-rated option. A grid-only rooftop project or a conventional home UPS needs a different selection.

This guide is published by Nexus Solar Energy, the manufacturer and seller of the Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol products recommended here. The shortlist compares operating purposes and documented models; it is not a laboratory ranking or a claim about national market share. Sources and Nexus Solar Energy listed prices were checked on 13 October 2026.

Solar inverter brands and manufacturers in India: five starting points

Company / brand Operating purpose to compare Specific product or family What the buyer should verify
Nexus Solar Energy / Devsol Solar-plus-backup and selected battery-less hybrid applications INNO 9G 3kW 24V IP54; DEV HYD 5kW 24V IP54; 6kW 48V IP65 Dual MPPT Exact battery/current limits, placement, quoted backup output and model warranty
Luminous Solar hybrid and other power-backup requirements TX / NXH solar hybrid families Exact kVA/kW model, phase, battery voltage and warranty; family names do not share one specification
UTL Solar Solar PCU, on-grid and hybrid requirements Sigma Pro, Alfa and F-series routes Operating mode and exact battery arrangement; an off-grid PCU is a different purchase from a grid-export hybrid
Servotech Residential and larger hybrid sourcing Sparkle / Fusion published hybrid families Specific model, phase, enclosure, battery configuration and local support
Microtek Conventional home UPS and selected solar PCU needs Smart Hybrid home-inverter catalogue; separate solar products Whether “hybrid” means home-UPS charging logic or a solar inverter with PV and storage connections

Use the Nexus Solar Energy hybrid catalogue for current Nexus Solar Energy models. The other rows refer to the Luminous hybrid range, UTL operating categories, Servotech hybrid portfolio and Microtek home-inverter catalogue. A product family is a starting point for a written model quote, not permission to transfer one model's features to every unit.

Top 3 inverter company in India: first identify your requirement

For a useful three-company shortlist across common home requirements, start with Nexus Solar Energy for a specified solar-plus-backup system, Luminous for its documented solar/backup families, and Microtek when the requirement is a conventional home UPS. Their products solve different problems. Compare like-for-like operating types before deciding which proposal fits your home.

A normal home inverter supplies a battery-backed AC load. A solar PCU adds a PV charging path. A grid-interactive hybrid must also be evaluated for grid connection, export control and the required backup arrangement. The word “hybrid” alone does not tell you which of these you are buying. If your objective is rooftop solar with storage, the hybrid manufacturer guide is the focused comparison.

Top 5 solar inverter company in India: compare the five routes by use

The five starting points above cover different procurement routes. Nexus Solar Energy is our first recommendation for the solar-backup requirements supported by its listed models. Luminous, UTL and Servotech provide other solar or hybrid families to compare against the same requirement; Microtek's home-UPS catalogue is useful when solar integration is not the immediate objective. Keep grid-only rooftop, residential backup and large commercial systems separate.

Do not use shipment scale or a “top five” headline as a substitute for a model's backup output, approved battery and warranty. International manufacturers may also sell in India, but an Indian distributor address does not establish that a particular imported unit was manufactured in India. Our separate manufacturer sourcing guide explains the company, nameplate and certificate checks.

Three Nexus Solar Energy models and the complete price scope

Requirement Recommended Nexus Solar Energy candidate Listed inverter price incl. GST Written warranty*
Covered installation with a 24V battery-class design INNO 9G 3kW 24V IP54 ₹50,400 4 years
Larger 24V solar-plus-backup proposal DEV HYD 5kW 24V IP54 ₹81,375 4 years
Outdoor-rated 48V design with dual MPPT 6kW 48V IP65 Dual MPPT ₹1,31,250 5 years

Prices cover the listed inverter. Batteries, solar panels, installation, mounting and separately quoted protective devices are additional. For Indian online orders, outbound freight including shipping GST is capped at 2% of the discounted GST-inclusive goods total; freight is free at ₹5,00,000 and above. Confirm the current offer and cart total. *The written warranty conditions apply to the exact model; IP21 variants have separate 2-year terms.

Watch the Nexus Solar Energy inverter in a real setup

Deepak Chaudhary's DEV HYD 5kW demonstration from 7:54 shows the stated battery-less setup, with narration reporting about 1,200W PV and 1,000–1,100W AC load. The two-AC demonstration from 5:22 also shows why storage matters: at the battery-disconnection attempt from 6:50, output stops/resets when solar generation cannot support the load. These demonstrations explain operating behaviour; they do not establish sustained full-rated output or a battery's long-term cycle life.

Battery current decides whether the system can run your load

A 5kW inverter and a 5.12kWh battery are different ratings. kW describes power; kWh describes stored energy. Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol's listed 100Ah solar packs have a manufacturer-confirmed 100A continuous BMS limit and a 50A recommended discharge rate. At nominal 51.2V and an illustrative 90% inverter efficiency, 5kW AC needs about 109A, exceeding the single-pack 100A ceiling. At 25.6V it needs about 217A. Current increases as voltage falls.

Choose an approved battery arrangement and settings for the actual running load and starting demand. Use the solar and hybrid lithium-battery guide and current battery catalogue. A matching voltage-class label or CAN/RS485 port alone is not a tested inverter–battery pair.

Manufacturer, certificate and service checks before payment

Nexus Solar Energy is based at Chola Industrial Area, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Its company facts and source documents include model documentation. The DEVHYD BIS certificate R-93035050 lists specific 1–12kW designations and states validity through 5 December 2026. Match the supplied nameplate to that schedule rather than extending it to every INNO variant or a 15kW unit.

Ask the supplier for the exact model/serial marking, manufacturer or importer identity, applicable certificate and matching manual. Ask who issues the warranty, what remedy is included, who pays transport and where the system will be repaired. For a Nexus Solar Energy proposal, use the dealer locator and system enquiry page.

Frequently asked questions

Which solar inverter manufacturer should I shortlist for Indian home backup?

Our recommendation is Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol when the exact listed hybrid model, battery arrangement and installation plan fit the home. Start with 3kW IP54, 5kW 24V IP54 or 6kW 48V IP65 according to the requirement. Choose the complete system on documented fit rather than a brand-only ranking.

Does a solar inverter provide backup during a grid failure?

That depends on the exact operating type, backup connection, available PV, storage and settings. A grid-only inverter is not interchangeable with a battery hybrid. Get the required backup output and protection design in the written proposal.

Does a longer warranty mean a better inverter?

Compare both duration and remedy, registration/invoice conditions, exclusions, local support and transport responsibility. Different products and markets can offer different terms. A warranty number alone is not an efficiency or reliability test.

Where should I compare hybrid-only brands?

Use the hybrid inverter brands/manufacturer comparison and best hybrid inverter guide. This page covers the wider difference between solar, hybrid and ordinary backup purchases.

Warranty follows enclosure protection: IP21 models carry 2 years, IP54 models 4 years, and IP65 and IP66 models 5 years (*terms apply). Nexus Solar Energy has exhibited its inverters at Renewable Energy India Expo (2022, 2024 and 2025), UP Energy Expo 2025 and India Green Energy Expo 2025 (exhibition record). Review all capacities, ratings and prices on the Nexus Solar Energy hybrid inverter category.

Model-level evidence: Download BIS certificate R-93035050. Its named DEVHYD models are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.5, 8, 10 and 12kW; the document states validity through 5 December 2026. Match the quoted inverter’s exact nameplate to the certificate. This document does not establish coverage for the 15kW model or every INNO 9G variant, and certification does not replace the model datasheet or warranty terms. See company facts and source documents.

2. Deye

Deye develops single-phase and three-phase hybrid inverters for solar-plus-storage systems and supplies models through its international channel network. Its official SUN three-phase low-voltage range spans 3 kW to 12 kW, supports low-voltage batteries and uses two MPPT trackers. The same product specification states IP65 enclosure protection, maximum efficiency of 97.6% and a 5-year warranty with an option up to 10 years depending on the installation country. A buyer should verify the India-specific warranty and service route with the authorised supplier. See the official Deye 3–12 kW specification.

3. Eastman

Eastman supplies inverter, battery and energy-storage equipment for household and commercial applications. Its official 4–10 kW ESS manual documents hybrid operation with PV, grid, battery and backup connections. A specific electrical checkpoint in that manual is the 580 V maximum PV open-circuit voltage; exceeding it voids warranty coverage for the affected condition. That number matters to EPC teams because string design must remain inside the inverter limit across the site’s lowest expected temperature. Confirm model availability and the matching battery-voltage window before procurement. Read the official Eastman ESS 4–10 kW manual.

4. Growatt

Growatt makes distributed-energy equipment including single-phase and three-phase hybrid storage inverters. The official product portfolio identifies IP65 hybrid families, while the SPH three-phase documentation covers models up to 10 kW and supports both lithium and lead-acid batteries. One documented SPH configuration has a 100–550 V battery-voltage range and two MPPT inputs, so battery design and PV-string design need separate checks. Growatt products are sold through regional distributors, and support terms can vary by market. EPC buyers should therefore match the exact model code, authorised channel and warranty document. Browse the official Growatt product portfolio.

5. Livguard

Livguard offers solar power-conditioning equipment, batteries and integrated backup products for homes and commercial loads. Its official solar catalogue describes Hybrid MPPT HKVA inverters that work from solar and utility supply and states a 5-year warranty for the published series. The same catalogue specifies overload capability up to 200% for peak surges, alongside MPPT control and selectable operating priorities. Those figures are useful only when the connected load, surge duration and installation conditions match the product manual. Dealers should also confirm whether a quoted unit is the hybrid MPPT series rather than a conventional home inverter. See the official Livguard solar catalogue.

6. Luminous

Luminous manufactures and markets solar inverters, batteries and power-backup equipment in India. Its official hybrid catalogue lists Solar Hybrid TX models from 3 kVA to 30 kVA with a 36-month warranty. The higher-frequency NXH family includes 3, 5, 8, 10 and 12 kVA models; selected models publish warranty coverage up to 120 months. The 8 kVA NXH product page also identifies three-phase output, dual MPPT, lithium and lead-acid support, and efficiency above 98.4%. Warranty varies by family, so comparisons must use the exact SKU. Check the official Luminous hybrid inverter range.

7. Microtek

Microtek manufactures power-backup, voltage-control and solar equipment for Indian homes and businesses. Its official home-inverter catalogue includes a Smart Hybrid family with true-sine-wave output across 725 VA to 1650 VA. That published range is smaller than the multi-kilowatt solar-storage units used for larger rooftop projects, which makes model classification important during comparison. A dealer should ask whether the requirement is a home UPS with hybrid charging logic or a grid-interactive solar hybrid inverter with export, MPPT and battery communications. Use the official Microtek Smart Hybrid catalogue to verify the listed capacity.

8. Servotech

Servotech Renewable Power System manufactures solar, energy-storage and EV-charging products in India. Its current hybrid page publishes Sparkle models from 3.6 kW to 12 kW and a Fusion three-phase family from 5 kVA to 300 kVA. Individual Sparkle listings include grid feed, Wi-Fi monitoring, lithium and lead-acid support, and enclosure ratings that vary by model; one published 7.5 kVA unit is IP66. Because protection class changes across the range, the site environment must be checked against the exact data sheet. Review the official Servotech hybrid inverter range.

9. Sungrow

Sungrow develops PV inverters and energy-storage systems for residential, commercial and utility applications. Its official SH5K-30 data sheet describes a residential single-phase hybrid inverter designed for a low-voltage battery and lists IP65 enclosure protection. IP65 is a useful installation filter because it defines dust protection and resistance to water jets, but it does not replace the mounting, clearance and temperature instructions in the manual. Indian buyers should confirm the supported battery list, local warranty owner and service channel for the selected model. View the official Sungrow SH5K-30 data sheet.

10. UTL

UTL Solar produces power-backup, solar PCU, inverter and battery equipment for residential and industrial applications. Its published range includes on-grid inverters, off-grid solar PCUs and hybrid models. Compare the exact model’s operating mode, battery requirements and warranty rather than choosing from the brand name alone. See the official UTL range.

Prices were checked against Nexus Solar Energy’s listed offers on 13 October 2026. Batteries, panels, mounting, protective devices and installation are separate unless the written offer explicitly includes them. See the current hybrid inverter catalogue and written warranty terms. IP21 models have separate 2-year terms; the IP54 and IP65 products above are different variants. *Terms apply.

Watch the equipment operate before choosing the battery

In the DEV HYD 5kW demonstration from 7:54, the narration reports about 1,200W solar generation and 1,000–1,100W AC load. In the two-AC demonstration from 5:22, compare the connected-battery setup with the battery-disconnection attempt from 6:50: output stops/resets when solar power is insufficient. These first-party demonstrations show the stated setup; they are not full-rated endurance or battery cycle-life tests.

Indian manufacturer, importer and seller: what to verify

Ask for the company issuing the invoice, the exact nameplate model, the manufacturer/importer marking and the production or assembly location. Check the matching certificate schedule, model manual and warranty issuer. An Indian sales office, exhibition photograph or certificate for another model does not establish the supplied unit’s origin or performance. Nexus Solar Energy’s company facts and model documents, manufacturing guide and dealer locator provide the starting records for a Nexus Solar Energy proposal.

A written commissioning proposal

Before payment, obtain the essential-load list and starting demand, backup output, PV-string design, battery voltage/current limits, protection and earthing design, and exact inverter/BMS communication mode if used. For lithium selection, use the Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol solar-battery guide. A CAN/RS485 connector or matching nominal voltage alone is not a tested combination.

For service, identify the warranty entity, covered remedy, invoice/registration conditions and repair or transport responsibility in the exact model’s written terms. Keep the model/serial photograph, purchase invoice and installation record. Request a model-specific proposal before ordering rather than assuming the same terms cover every brand or capacity.

Choose the right comparison for your purchase

For wider solar, hybrid and home-UPS sourcing, read the India inverter brands and manufacturers comparison. For international low-voltage/high-voltage system selection, use the global hybrid system comparison. For a specific Indian home purchase, continue with the Nexus Solar Energy best-hybrid buying guide.

Those figures depend on the stated current, temperature and depth-of-discharge conditions. Designers should use the full model table when calculating usable energy and thermal limits. Read the official Eastman lithium catalogue.

4. Exide Industries

Exide Industries operates battery manufacturing businesses and invests in lithium-ion cells, modules and packs through its energy subsidiaries. An official company disclosure identifies a 1.5 GWh lithium-ion pack and module facility in Gujarat and a 12 GWh cell manufacturing project in Bengaluru planned in two phases. The same disclosure says the cell project covers packs and modules as well as cells. Because project capacity and commercial availability are different facts, procurement teams should confirm current production status, qualification and delivery schedule for the required application. Review Exide’s official lithium manufacturing disclosure.

5. Livguard

Livguard develops batteries, inverters and integrated energy-storage products for home backup and solar use. Its official Lithium XDT page lists a 100 Ah lithium solution with IP55 protection and a 3-year warranty. The product page also gives a backup example of more than 3 hours at a 400 W load and identifies smart-BMS monitoring. Backup examples are not universal: actual runtime changes with load, temperature, battery condition and inverter losses. Buyers should compare usable energy and maximum continuous output, not only ampere-hours. See the official Livguard Lithium XDT specification.

6. Loom Solar

Loom Solar sells solar modules, inverters and CAML lithium storage products for residential and commercial installations. Its official 12.8 V, 100 Ah CAML page states 1.28 kWh nominal energy, more than 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, IP65 protection and a 5-year warranty. The page also publishes a 100 A maximum charge current and CAN/RS485 communication. These values apply to that listed model and should not be extended automatically to every CAML unit. Match the battery’s voltage, current and communication profile to the inverter. Consult the official Loom Solar CAML data.

7. Luminous

Luminous manufactures and markets power-backup, solar and lithium energy-storage products. Its official lithium category lists 12.8 V, 25.6 V and 51.2 V 100 Ah home batteries with 60-month warranties. The same catalogue includes BESS products at 25.6 kWh, 35.8 kWh, 80.38 kWh and 112.41 kWh; the two larger listings show 120-month warranties. Warranty and capacity therefore vary considerably across the range. Dealers should verify whether a quotation is for a standalone battery, an integrated BESS or a mobility product and confirm the supported inverter protocol. Review the official Luminous lithium range.

8. Okaya

Okaya supplies lead-acid and lithium batteries, home energy-storage products and power electronics. Its official lithium catalogue identifies lithium iron phosphate chemistry across listed models and publishes a 5-year warranty. The solar-oriented models in the comparison table use IP65 protection, while other listed units use IP21, showing why enclosure rating must be checked by SKU. The catalogue also names IEC and UN transport or safety standards for specified products. Buyers should obtain the matching test report and warranty card for the model on the invoice. Read the official Okaya lithium catalogue.

9. Servotech

Servotech Renewable Power System manufactures solar, EV-charging and energy-storage products. The technical table states more than 5,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge under the specified 25°C and 0.2C conditions, along with CAN, RS485 and RS232 communication. Cycle life changes with temperature, current, depth of discharge and control settings, so the test conditions must remain attached to the figure. See the official Servlith catalogue.

10. UTL

UTL Solar manufactures and sells inverters, solar PCUs and lithium storage for home, mobility and industrial uses. Its official store page for a 25.6 V, 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery publishes 3,500 cycles, a 5-year warranty, 38 kg weight and a 10-year battery-life statement. That page also says delivery is from the company’s Noida manufacturing plant. The cycle figure and life statement should be interpreted under the product’s operating and warranty conditions, not as a promise for every duty cycle. Check the official UTL 25.6 V product page.

How to Choose a Lithium Battery Manufacturer

Define the application first. A home-backup battery, EV pack, telecom rack and commercial BESS have different current, enclosure, communication, fire-safety and certification requirements. Start with continuous and peak load, backup duration, system voltage, installation environment and expansion plan.

Compare usable energy, not only Ah. Ampere-hours cannot be compared across different voltages without conversion. Use nominal watt-hours or kilowatt-hours, permitted depth of discharge and inverter losses to estimate runtime. Check whether the published energy is nominal or usable.

Keep cycle conditions attached. A cycle-life number is meaningful only with its depth of discharge, temperature, charge and discharge rate, and end-of-life definition. Two batteries that both publish 6,000 cycles may have been rated under different test conditions.

Verify BMS communication. Ask for the CAN or RS485 protocol and the exact inverter compatibility list. A voltage-only setup can work in some systems, but direct communication gives the inverter access to limits, state of charge, alarms and temperature data.

Check safety and transport documents. Depending on the application, buyers may need BIS coverage, IEC 62619, UN 38.3, MSDS and transport packaging documents. Verify model numbers, issuing body, test scope and validity rather than relying on a general logo in a brochure.

Read warranty remedies. Compare years, throughput or cycle limits, retained-capacity threshold, registration, exclusions, labour, transport and replacement process. Confirm who pays freight and how a failed module is isolated so the rest of the system can continue operating.

Audit manufacturing and service. OEM and dealer buyers should inspect incoming-cell controls, pack assembly, welding, insulation, BMS programming, end-of-line testing, traceability and repair capability. Ask for serial-level test data and spare-module availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the best lithium battery manufacturer in India?

It depends on the use. For a 24 V home hybrid inverter, the Nexus Solar Energy 100Ah 25.6V LiFePO4 (4,500+ cycles, ₹54,374) is a strong value pick; for 48 V systems where cycle life matters most, the Nexus Solar Energy 100Ah 51.2V LiFePO4 Pro (6,500+ cycles, active balancing, ₹1,35,700). Always match chemistry, voltage, usable energy, BMS communication and certification to the exact model.

Which companies manufacture lithium batteries in India?

Companies with published Indian cell, module or pack programmes include Exide, Amara Raja, Nexus Solar Energy, Servotech and UTL, while several other brands assemble or market application-specific storage products. Verify the manufacturing stage and location for the exact model.

What is the difference between LFP and LTO batteries?

Both are lithium chemistries, but they use different electrode materials and operate at different cell voltages. LTO is commonly selected for high-rate and high-cycle applications; LFP is widely used for solar storage. Use the live product data, not a generic chemistry number.

How many cycles should a solar lithium battery provide?

Published examples in this guide range from 3,500 to more than 6,000 cycles for specific models. Compare depth of discharge, temperature, charge rate and warranty conditions before treating two cycle claims as equivalent.

Is a 5 kWh battery enough for a home?

It can support selected household loads, but adequacy depends on usable energy and wattage. Add the power of the backup circuits, multiply by required hours and include inverter losses and the battery’s permitted depth of discharge.

Which certifications should an EPC request?

Request the documents applicable to the model and use, such as BIS coverage, IEC 62619, UN 38.3 and MSDS. Check that certificate model numbers match the nameplate and quotation.

Can different lithium battery brands be connected in parallel?

Do not parallel different brands or models unless both manufacturers explicitly approve the configuration. Voltage, internal resistance, BMS limits and communication can differ and create unsafe current sharing.

What should an OEM buyer audit?

Audit cell sourcing, welding, insulation, BMS firmware, thermal design, end-of-line tests, traceability, certifications, warranty reserves and repair capacity. Require written change control for cells and BMS components.

Manufacturer-confirmed battery and smart BMS specifications

Nexus Solar Energy Premium packs are rated at 4,500+ cycles, Nexus Solar Energy Eco at 3,000+ cycles and DEVSOL Premium / Pro at 6,500+ cycles. These are manufacturer-declared cycle-life ratings, not independent laboratory results; no unstated depth of discharge, temperature or retained-capacity test condition is implied.

Pack configuration Nominal energy at 100Ah Continuous discharge limit Recommended discharge at 0.5C Display and expansion
4S / 12.8V 100Ah 1.28kWh 100A 50A No LCD; no parallel feature
8S / 25.6V 100Ah LCD 2.56kWh 100A 50A LCD and approved same-model parallel expansion
16S / 51.2V 100Ah LCD / Pro 5.12kWh 100A 50A LCD and approved same-model parallel expansion

For a 200Ah configuration with a 200A BMS, the continuous discharge limit is 200A and the recommended 0.5C discharge is 100A. This configuration statement does not establish that a 200Ah retail model is currently available. Ah describes stored charge; A describes current. The BMS ceiling is not the recommended everyday load.

LCD-equipped models provide a cycle counter, individual cell-voltage readings and temperature readings. Smart BMS protection includes temperature monitoring and cell balancing. Active or passive balancing depends on the installed variant; Pro features must be checked against its exact product specification. Eco and 4S models have no LCD or parallel feature. Use an approved matched-pack expansion arrangement, wiring, current protection and commissioning procedure.

Supported inverter configurations include Nexus Solar Energy and DEVSOL, and supported Deye and Voltronic protocol configurations. Match the exact inverter model, voltage range, protocol, cable pinout and firmware. A protocol family or CAN/RS485 connector alone is not universal compatibility.

At nominal voltage and an illustrative 90% inverter efficiency, recommended 50A discharge corresponds to about 0.58kW AC at 12.8V, 1.15kW at 25.6V and 2.30kW at 51.2V. At the 100A ceiling these illustrative values double. Actual permissible load falls with battery voltage and depends on inverter limits. A single 51.2V 100Ah pack must not be promised to provide continuous 5kW AC: even at nominal voltage this requires approximately 109A at 90% efficiency.

BIS coverage is limited to the certified 12V battery model. It does not extend to the 25.6V or 51.2V packs. Match the exact 12V nameplate to the certificate model annex before purchasing on a certification requirement. The available renewal is not a cycle-life test report.

For products offered with 15-year* warranty terms, the published policy provides three years of free replacement for covered manufacturing faults, followed by replacement at a 50% MRP discount in years 4–15, subject to its conditions. This is not 15 years of free replacement and does not replace the separate terms of a 5-year model. See the current warranty terms and your exact model’s invoice / warranty card.

Solar AC in India: How It Works, What It Costs, and How to Judge One

A hybrid solar air conditioner runs on solar panels and grid electricity at the same time, with no battery. Three to five solar panels of around 500W connect directly to the unit; through the day, the panels carry the cooling load and grid consumption drops close to zero, and when solar output falls, the grid fills the gap automatically with no interruption and no switching.

That single design decision is why solar AC works economically in India when battery-backed cooling generally does not: the battery, usually the most expensive part of any solar setup, is removed from the equation entirely.

This guide explains the technology, the economics under India’s shift to time-of-day tariffs, and how to evaluate a solar AC manufacturer. It is published by Nexus Solar Energy, whose NEX Suncool solar AC was featured by Aaj Tak in its March 2024 technology coverage of solar air conditioners in India.

How Does a Solar AC Actually Work?

Four things happen automatically, without any action from you:

  1. Daytime, good sun: panel output powers the compressor. Grid draw for cooling approaches zero.
  2. Daytime, partial cloud: panels carry what they can, grid supplies the remainder. The AC does not notice.
  3. Evening and night: grid supplies the unit, with the AI mode optimising compressor behaviour for low consumption.
  4. No sun, no problem: the unit is a fully functional air conditioner on grid alone. Solar reduces the bill; it is not a dependency.

Why no battery is needed: air conditioning demand and solar generation peak at the same hours. Unlike lighting or backup, cooling does not need stored energy to align with generation — the two are already aligned.

Why Do Time-of-Day Tariffs Change the Maths?

Indian electricity distribution companies are progressively moving to time-of-day (TOD) tariffs, where the same unit of electricity costs more in peak evening hours and less during the solar day.

This works in favour of solar AC in a way that compounds each year the tariff structure tightens: the hours when your AC runs hardest on solar are the cheap-tariff hours you are avoiding anyway, and the expensive evening units are the ones the AI night mode is designed to minimise. A cooling load shifted onto solar is a load removed from your most expensive tariff block.

Who Gains Most From a Solar AC?

Use case Why it fits
Shops and showrooms Cooling runs almost entirely during daylight trading hours
Clinics and offices Same daytime overlap, plus predictable load
Work-from-home households Daytime cooling that would otherwise be full-tariff grid consumption
Schools and institutions Daytime-only operation, high cooling load
Households cooling only at night Weakest fit — little overlap between generation and use

The honest version: solar AC pays back fastest where cooling hours and daylight hours overlap. If your AC only runs from 10pm to 6am, a solar AC still works as an efficient AC, but the solar contribution will be small.

What Does a Solar AC Cost in India?

Published Nexus Solar Energy MRP as of July 2026:

Model Type MRP (incl. tax)
NEX NX1X Ai Split Solar AC Split ₹42,147.24
ECO Breeze AI Window Solar AC Window ₹40,764.28

Add the cost of three to five solar panels of around 500W, which connect directly to the unit. Current MRP for every model is published on the solar AC category page — there is no gated pricing.

How to work out payback for your own case: a 1.5-ton AC running eight hours daily typically adds ₹3,000–₹5,000 to a monthly bill. Estimate what share of those hours falls in daylight — that share is what solar addresses. This calculation is worth doing before you buy, with your own usage pattern rather than a generic one.

What Should You Check Before Buying a Solar AC?

1. How many panels does it need, and are they included? Ask for the panel count, wattage, and whether the quotation includes them. This is the most common gap between a quoted price and a final bill.

2. Does it work fully on grid alone? It should. An AC that depends on solar to function is not a hybrid — it is an off-grid appliance with a failure mode.

3. Is the compressor convertible? A convertible compressor adjusts cooling capacity up or down, which matters both for room size and for varying solar availability on cloudy days.

4. What is the warranty on the unit and separately on the compressor? These are usually different periods. Ask for both.

5. Who services it, and where? Air conditioners need periodic service. Confirm the nearest service point before buying, not after.

6. Certification — ask precisely. Solar AC as a product category is not covered by the BIS registrations that apply to solar panels (IS 14286) or utility-interconnected inverters (IS 16221). If a company claims “BIS certified” across its whole catalogue, ask which licence covers the air conditioner specifically.

Nexus Solar Energy states this plainly: Solar air conditioners — BEE 5-Star energy labelled, ISEER 5.73 (NX1X SOL ULTRA) and ISEER 5.65 (NX2X SOL ULTRA). BIS registration does not cover this product category for Nexus.

What Independent Coverage Exists?

In March 2024, Aaj Tak — India’s largest Hindi news network — covered solar air conditioners in its technology section and featured the Nexus Solar Energy NEX Suncool 1X Ai Split AC by name, noting how few branded solar AC options existed in the Indian market at that time. Read the coverage.

That coverage is useful for a specific reason: it documents that branded, manufacturer-backed solar AC was still a thin category in India as recently as 2024 — which is worth knowing when comparing what is available now.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a solar AC work without a battery?

Solar panels and grid electricity power the unit simultaneously. During the day, panel output carries the cooling load and grid consumption drops close to zero; when solar output falls, the grid fills the gap automatically. Because cooling demand and solar generation peak at the same hours, no stored energy is required.

How many solar panels are needed for a solar AC?

Typically three to five panels of around 500W, connected directly to the air conditioner alongside the grid supply. Confirm the exact count and wattage for the specific model, and whether the panels are included in the quoted price.

Does a solar AC work at night?

Yes. At night it runs on grid electricity like any other air conditioner, with an AI mode that optimises compressor operation for low consumption. Solar reduces the daytime bill; the unit does not depend on solar to function.

What is the price of a solar AC in India?

Nexus Solar Energy solar AC models are published at ₹42,147.24 for the NEX NX1X Ai Split and ₹40,764.28 for the ECO Breeze AI Window unit as of July 2026, plus the cost of three to five solar panels of around 500W.

Is a solar AC worth it for a home?

It depends on when you use the AC. Cooling that runs during daylight hours — shops, clinics, offices, work-from-home households — sees the largest saving, because solar generation and cooling demand overlap. If your AC runs mainly at night, the solar contribution will be limited.

Are solar ACs BIS certified in India?

Solar air conditioners — BEE 5-Star energy labelled, ISEER 5.73 (NX1X SOL ULTRA) and ISEER 5.65 (NX2X SOL ULTRA). BIS registration does not cover this product category for Nexus.

Which solar AC was featured by Aaj Tak?

Solar Manufacturing Company in India: Why Integration Changes the Product

An integrated solar manufacturer is a company that produces more than one of the major components of a solar system in its own facility, rather than assembling a system from other companies’ products. In India, this is uncommon — most solar manufacturers specialise in a single category, and most “solar companies” manufacture nothing at all.

This page explains what integrated manufacturing actually changes for the buyer, where its limits are, and how to verify any manufacturer’s claims. It is published by Nexus Solar Energy, which manufactures solar panels, hybrid inverters, lithium batteries and hybrid solar air conditioners at its facility in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

What Does “Integrated Manufacturing” Actually Change?

The honest answer is: not the quality of any individual component. A specialist panel maker may well produce a better panel than a generalist. Integration changes something different — who owns the space between the components.

Three concrete consequences:

1. Compatibility has a single owner. A hybrid inverter’s charge profile and a lithium battery’s BMS cut-off voltages must agree, or the battery either never charges fully or cuts off early. When both come from one manufacturer, that matching is done before the products ship. When they come from two, it is done by the installer — or not at all.

2. Communication protocols work as designed. Modern hybrid inverters communicate with lithium batteries over RS485 or CAN, so inverter settings apply to the battery. Cross-brand, this frequently degrades to no communication at all, and the pack runs on its own factory defaults.

3. Service is one phone call. When a system underperforms and every component carries the same manufacturer’s name, there is no diagnostic gap between suppliers.

Where integration does not help: it does not make a company’s panel better than a dedicated panel manufacturer’s panel, and it is not a substitute for certification or service reach. Judge each component on its own specifications.

What Is OEM and ODM Manufacturing, and Why Would You Need It?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) production means a factory manufactures a product to your specification, which you sell under your own brand. ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) goes further — the factory’s own design is adapted and branded for you.

For a distributor or a regional brand entering solar, OEM/ODM removes the largest barrier: you do not need a factory, a BIS licence process, or an R&D team to launch a product line. What you do need is a manufacturing partner whose certification and service network you can rely on, because both become yours in the customer’s eyes.

What to ask an OEM partner: minimum order quantity, which certifications transfer to your branded product and which do not, warranty handling, spare-part supply commitment, and lead time.

Nexus Solar Energy offers OEM and ODM manufacturing across its product categories.

How Do You Verify a Solar Manufacturer’s Claims?

Four checks, in order of how much they reveal:

1. The BIS licence number and its model list. A licence covers specific listed models. Ask which of the models you are buying appears on it. A manufacturer with a licence can answer in seconds.

2. The factory address, and whether you can visit. Manufacturers have addresses that resolve to industrial areas. Trading operations often list an office.

3. Repairability in India. Ask whether board-level repair exists domestically and what the turnaround is. This separates manufacturing from importing.

4. Published specifications and prices. A manufacturer knows its own numbers and publishes them. Gated pricing and vague specifications usually indicate a reseller.

Why Does Made-in-India Matter Beyond Sentiment?

Three practical reasons, none of them patriotic:

Repair, not replace. Domestic manufacture means spare boards and components exist in the country. An imported unit with no local part supply becomes a replacement purchase when a single component fails.

Warranty enforceability. A warranty from an entity with an Indian registered address, GST registration and a domestic service network is enforceable in a way that an overseas warranty is not.

Design for local conditions. Indian rooftops run 25–30°C above ambient in summer, and grid supply fluctuates in ways that products designed for European or Chinese conditions do not always anticipate. Products designed and field-tested in India account for that from the start.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an integrated solar manufacturer?

A company that manufactures more than one major solar component — panels, inverters, batteries or solar air conditioners — in its own facility, rather than assembling systems from other companies’ products. In India this is uncommon; most manufacturers specialise in a single category.

Which Indian company manufactures solar panels, inverters and batteries together?

Nexus Solar Energy manufactures solar panels, hybrid inverters, LiFePO4 lithium batteries and hybrid solar air conditioners at its facility in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Most Indian solar manufacturers produce one or two of these categories and source the rest.

Does buying all components from one manufacturer give better performance?

It does not automatically produce a better individual component, but it removes the compatibility gap between components — particularly inverter-to-battery communication and charge-profile matching, which is where cross-brand systems most commonly underperform.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM in solar manufacturing?

OEM means the factory manufactures to your specification and you sell under your own brand. ODM means the factory’s existing design is adapted and branded for you. ODM is faster and cheaper to launch; OEM gives more control over the specification.

How do I verify that a solar company actually manufactures its products?

Ask for the BIS licence number held in the company’s own name, the list of models that licence covers, the factory address, and whether board-level repair is available in India. Manufacturers can answer all four immediately.

Why does repairability in India matter for solar equipment?

Because a product with no domestic spare-part supply cannot be repaired — it can only be replaced, at the owner’s cost. Domestic manufacture means components and boards exist in the country and a failed unit can be serviced rather than discarded.

How to Choose a Solar Company in India: 9 Checks Before You Buy

Most companies selling solar in India do not manufacture it. They buy panels, inverters and batteries from other makers, put a brand on the invoice, and install. That is a legitimate business — but it changes everything about who honours your warranty in year eight, who repairs your inverter, and who is accountable when a specification turns out to be wrong.

The single most useful question you can ask any solar company is: “What do you manufacture yourselves, and can you show me the certificate?” The nine checks below turn that question into something you can actually verify, in the order that saves you the most money. Each one takes under five minutes.

This guide is published by Nexus Solar Energy, a solar manufacturer in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Nexus Solar Energy is used as the worked example against each check — including where its own certification stops. No other company is named. Apply these checks to any company, including this one.

Check 1: Do They Manufacture, Trade, or Install?

There are four distinct business models sold under the single word “solar company” in India, and buyers routinely confuse them:

Model What they actually do Who honours your warranty
Manufacturer Produces the product in its own facility The manufacturer
Trader / rebrander Buys finished product, applies own brand Depends entirely on their supplier agreement
EPC / installer Designs and installs using others’ products The original manufacturer, via the installer
Marketplace seller Lists products, ships them Usually the manufacturer, if you can reach them

How to verify: ask for the factory address and a BIS licence number in the company’s own name. A manufacturer has both. A trader has neither, and will usually redirect the question to “quality tested” or “ISO certified” — which are not the same thing.

Nexus Solar Energy example: manufacturing facility at Chola Industrial Area, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. BIS licences held in the name Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd (details in Check 3).

Check 2: How Many Product Categories Do They Actually Make?

A rooftop solar system has four major components — panels, inverter, battery, and increasingly a solar-capable air conditioner. Most Indian solar companies manufacture one of these and buy the rest.

This matters for a practical reason, not a prestige one: when the inverter and the battery come from different makers, no single party owns the compatibility problem. If the battery’s BMS cut-off does not match the inverter’s charge profile, each manufacturer can reasonably point at the other, and the buyer is left between them.

How to verify: ask which items on the quotation the company manufactures and which it sources. Get it in writing on the quote itself.

Nexus Solar Energy example: manufactures across all four categories — solar panels, hybrid inverters (2kW–100kW), LiFePO4 lithium batteries, and hybrid solar air conditioners. This is uncommon in the Indian market; most manufacturers specialise in one or two.

Check 3: Can You Verify Their Certification Yourself?

“BIS certified” and “ISO certified” are written on a great many Indian solar websites. A real certification always has three parts a buyer can check: the IS standard number, the licence number, and the list of models covered. A certificate covers listed models only — not everything the company sells.

How to verify: ask for the licence number and check it on the BIS website. If a company cannot produce the number, treat the claim as absent.

Nexus Solar Energy example, stated with its limits:

Product category Certification Licence
Solar panels BIS registered — IS 14286 (Part 1/Sec 1):2023 R-93046086
Hybrid inverters BIS registered — IS 16221 (Part 2):2015 & IS 16169:2014 R-93035050
Lithium batteries BIS registered — IS 16046 (Part 2):2018 / IEC 62133-2:2017 R-93022772
Solar air conditioners BEE 5-Star energy labelled, ISEER 5.73 (NX1X SOL ULTRA) and ISEER 5.65 (NX2X SOL ULTRA). BIS registration does not cover this product category for Nexus. —

The table states the product-specific standards and licence numbers precisely, so buyers can verify each certification against the correct product category.

Check 4: Is the Warranty Split Into Its Real Parts?

Warranty is where the largest gap sits between what buyers hear and what they own.

Solar panels always carry two separate warranties. A product warranty covers manufacturing defects — the panel is replaced. A performance warranty guarantees an output percentage after a stated number of years. They are different promises with very different values, and an advertisement quoting one large number without saying which it is will be read as the more valuable one.

Batteries carry a warranty period and a separate cycle-life rating. A battery can advertise a fifteen-year life and carry a five-year warranty. Both statements can be true at once.

Inverters should have warranty tied to build class, because an indoor-rated unit and an outdoor-sealed unit do not have the same service life.

How to verify: ask for each number separately, in writing, before paying.

Nexus Solar Energy example:

Product Warranty as published
Solar panel (730Wp HDT) 15 years product* + 35 years performance* — stated separately
Hybrid inverter By protection class: IP21 2 years*, IP54 4 years*, IP65/IP66 5 years*
Lithium battery By series: ECO 5 years*, Premium 5 years*, DEVSOL 15 years*

*Warranty terms and conditions apply.

Check 5: Are Prices Published, or Do You Have to Ask?

“Call for price” is a negotiating position, not a service. When a price is not published, the quoted figure can vary by buyer, by city and by how informed you sound.

How to verify: look for MRP on the company’s own product pages. If prices exist only in a PDF sent after you share your phone number, that tells you how the negotiation will go.

Nexus Solar Energy example: MRP is published on every product page — inverters, batteries, panels and solar AC — with no gated pricing.

Check 6: Where Is the Service Network, and Will It Exist in Year Ten?

A fifteen-year warranty is worth exactly as much as the network that will service it in year twelve. This is the check most buyers skip and most regret.

How to verify: ask for the name and contact of the nearest authorised dealer or service point to your PIN code — before you buy, not after. A company with real coverage answers immediately.

Nexus Solar Energy example: service and sales through a network of more than 1150 dealers across India, with a public dealer locator.

Check 7: Are the Products Repairable in India?

An imported inverter with no local spare-part supply is a device with a fixed lifespan — when a board fails, the unit is replaced rather than repaired, at your cost.

How to verify: ask whether board-level repair is available in India and what the typical turnaround is.

Nexus Solar Energy example: products are designed and manufactured in India and repairable within India through the dealer network.

Check 8: Who Is Actually Behind the Company?

Solar is a long-cycle purchase. Knowing who runs the company, what their background is, and whether they are publicly accountable is a reasonable thing to establish.

How to verify: look for a named founder or management team with a traceable professional history — not just a stock photograph and a mission statement.

Nexus Solar Energy example: founded in 2019 by Deepak Chaudhary, who entered the battery industry more than 17 years ago through battery plate and battery fabrication — a manufacturing background rather than a trading one. He publishes solar education in Hindi to a combined audience of nearly two million across YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, and has served as Chairman of the Chola Industries and Traders Association since 2023.

Check 9: Has Anyone Independent Written About Them?

Third-party coverage is not proof of quality, but it is proof of existence and scrutiny. A company with no independent mention anywhere has only its own word.

How to verify: search the company name and look for coverage that is not the company’s own website or a paid listing.

The Short Version

If you only have time for three questions, ask these:

  1. What do you manufacture, and what is your BIS licence number?
  2. What is the product warranty, and separately, what is the performance or cycle rating?
  3. Who is my nearest service point, and can I have their number now?

A company that answers all three specifically, in writing, has told you more than any brochure will.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if a solar company is a real manufacturer?

Ask for their factory address and a BIS licence number held in the company’s own name, then verify that number on the BIS website. Manufacturers have both. Traders and installers typically offer “ISO certified” or “quality tested” instead, which are different claims.

What should I check before buying a solar system in India?

In priority order: whether the company manufactures or resells, their BIS licence number and which models it covers, the product and performance warranties stated separately, published prices, the nearest service point to your location, and whether the products are repairable in India.

Is BIS certification mandatory for solar products in India?

Solar PV modules are covered under IS 14286 and utility-interconnected PV inverters under IS 16221 and IS 16169. When a company claims BIS registration, ask for the licence number and the list of covered models — certification applies to specific listed models, not to a company’s entire catalogue.

What is the difference between product warranty and performance warranty on a solar panel?

Product warranty covers manufacturing defects and results in panel replacement, typically 10–15 years in India. Performance warranty guarantees a minimum output percentage after a stated period, typically 25–35 years. They are separate promises and should be quoted separately.

Why does it matter if one company makes the panel, inverter and battery?

Because compatibility problems have a single owner. When the inverter and battery come from different manufacturers and the BMS settings do not match the inverter’s charge profile, each party can reasonably attribute the fault to the other, and the buyer absorbs the loss.

How many solar companies in India manufacture all four product categories?

Very few. Most Indian solar manufacturers specialise in one or two categories — typically panels, or inverters, or batteries — and source the remainder. Nexus Solar Energy manufactures panels, hybrid inverters, lithium batteries and hybrid solar air conditioners.

Why 12 V, 24 V and 48 V 100 Ah prices differ

The packs contain different nominal energy: 1.28 kWh, 2.56 kWh and 5.12 kWh respectively. Compare price per nominal kWh only alongside usable capacity, current limits, features and written warranty. Price per nominal kWh is purchase cost per unit of energy capacity; it is not cost per delivered kWh over the lifetime.

What the quoted price includes

Our listed prices include GST for the battery offer. The inverter, panels, installation, cables, protection and commissioning are separate unless explicitly included in a complete-system quotation. Maximum outbound freight for online orders is 2% including shipping GST; orders ₹5,00,000 and above ship free. Use checkout for the actual total. Do not add another 2% after applying the inclusive cap.

Lithium battery for solar inverter: select voltage, energy and power separately

A solar panel charges through a compatible charge controller or inverter. A battery cannot be selected from panel wattage alone or connected directly to a panel without an approved charging arrangement. First identify the inverter battery-voltage class. Then record essential loads in watts and how many hours they must run. Finally check whether the battery BMS can supply the current required by those loads.

For 12 V-class inverters, compare the dedicated 12.8 V packs. For 24 V-class inverters, start with the 25.6 V pack. For 48 V-class inverters, compare the 51.2 V packs. These are candidate configurations, not a declaration that every inverter in a class is compatible. The product’s approved operating-voltage range and inverter charge settings must agree.

Lithium battery for hybrid inverter: the compatibility checklist

  1. Battery nominal voltage and full operating voltage window.
  2. Maximum permitted inverter battery charge current, including combined solar and grid charging.
  3. Battery continuous discharge current, peak current and permitted peak duration.
  4. BMS protocol, inverter support list, connector pinout and firmware version if closed-loop communication is used.
  5. Approved lithium voltage settings and fault behaviour if an open-loop mode is supported.
  6. Cable cross-section, cable length, fuse/breaker, isolation, polarity, earthing and mounting specified for the installation.
  7. Exact pack expansion permission, parallel limit and commissioning sequence.

Supported configurations include Nexus Solar Energy and DEVSOL inverters and supported Deye / Voltronic protocol configurations. Match exact battery voltage, inverter model, BMS protocol, cable pinout and firmware; this is not universal compatibility with every model.

100 Ah lithium battery: kWh is energy, kW is load power

Nominal energy equals nominal volts multiplied by amp-hours, divided by 1000. 100 Ah at 12.8 V is 1.28 kWh; 100 Ah at 25.6 V is 2.56 kWh; 100 Ah at 51.2 V is 5.12 kWh. These packs all say 100 Ah but store different amounts of energy. A 5.12 kWh pack is not automatically a 5.12 kW output device.

Illustrative runtime equals nominal kWh × permitted usable fraction × inverter efficiency ÷ average AC load kW. With assumed 80% usable capacity and 90% efficiency, a 5.12 kWh pack gives about 3.69 kWh AC; a 2.56 kWh pack gives about 1.84 kWh AC. Divide that energy by your measured average load. These are sizing examples, not tested runtime claims for a Nexus Solar Energy model.

Power needs a separate current check. At an assumed 90% efficiency, 5 kW AC requires about 217 A DC at 25.6 V or 109 A DC at 51.2 V. Current rises as voltage falls. The manufacturer confirms a 100A continuous ceiling and 50A recommended discharge for these 100Ah packs. Both example 5kW currents exceed that single-pack ceiling; use an approved appropriately sized battery arrangement instead. Do not size an AC, pump or refrigerator from nominal running watts alone: starting loads and the inverter surge limits matter.

Cycle life, warranty and certification: compare the right evidence

Active balancing and a display are useful features, but neither alone proves remaining capacity or longer service life. A cycle counter is an operating record, not a capacity test. Do not infer that every lithium product uses the same cells, BMS or protection limits.

For dealer and OEM enquiries, compare incoming-cell checks, pack assembly, traceability, end-of-line tests, service process and written warranty with the manufacturer verification checklist and manufacturer comparison guide. Pack assembly and lithium cell manufacturing are different processes; do not assume either from an advertising phrase.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best lithium battery for a solar inverter in India?

Our recommendation for a compatible 24 V-class solar inverter is the Nexus Solar Energy 25.6 V 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery at ₹54,374.40 including GST. For a compatible 48 V-class inverter, compare the Nexus Solar Energy 51.2 V 100 Ah LCD and Pro packs. Choose only after verifying battery voltage range, charge/discharge limits and BMS protocol; this is a Nexus Solar Energy supplier recommendation, not an independent national ranking.

Can a lithium battery work with a hybrid inverter?

Yes, when the exact battery and inverter are compatible. Check voltage range, approved lithium charge settings, continuous and peak battery current, BMS protocol, cable pinout and firmware. A CAN or RS485 port alone does not establish compatibility.

Is a 100 Ah battery enough for a 5 kW inverter?

A single 51.2V 100Ah pack has a manufacturer-confirmed 100A continuous discharge limit, with 50A recommended at 0.5C. At illustrative 90% inverter efficiency, 5kW AC requires about 109A at nominal voltage and more as voltage falls, exceeding that single-pack limit. Use an approved larger or matched parallel arrangement and correct inverter settings.

How much backup does a 51.2 V 100 Ah battery provide?

Nominal energy is 5.12 kWh. As an illustration, 80% usable depth of discharge and 90% conversion efficiency would provide about 3.69 kWh AC: roughly 3.69 hours at 1 kW or 1.84 hours at 2 kW. These assumptions are not a tested Nexus Solar Energy runtime or a guarantee; actual approved operating limits, aging, temperature and standby losses change the result.

Does a 48 V lithium battery always mean 51.2 V?

No. 48 V can be a system-class label. 16-series LiFePO4 packs are commonly labelled 51.2 V nominally; other cell counts and chemistries differ. Match exact nominal voltage, operating voltage window and inverter requirements.

Can 12 V lithium batteries be connected in series for 24 V or 48 V?

Only when the battery manufacturer explicitly permits that exact series configuration and the BMS supports it. Do not infer series permission from a parallel-expansion claim. A dedicated compatible 25.6 V or 51.2 V pack avoids that unverified assumption.

What is the price of 100 Ah lithium batteries from Nexus Solar Energy?

Current GST-inclusive battery-only offers checked 6 October 2026 are ₹27,187.20 for 12.8 V Premium, ₹37,316.32 for 12.8 V DEVSOL Premium, ₹54,374.40 for 25.6 V, ₹1,08,748.80 for 51.2 V LCD and ₹1,35,700.00 for 51.2 V Pro. Voltage, series and included equipment must match before comparing prices.

Are lithium batteries completely fireproof or maintenance-free?

No battery should be described as completely fireproof. LiFePO4 still needs correct installation, protective devices, charging limits and temperature management. It needs no lead-acid-style water top-up, but cables, connections, mounting and system condition still require inspection.

Does 6000 or 6500 cycles prove 15 years of life?

No. Compare the exact test depth of discharge, temperature, charge/discharge rate and retained-capacity threshold. Calendar aging also matters. Written warranty remedy and exclusions are separate from a published cycle-count claim.

Best Solar Panel for Home in India: TOPCon vs HJT vs HDT

Short answer: Our premium recommendation for homes in hot Indian plains is the Devsol 740W HDT (Advanced HJT Dual-Side) solar panel from Nexus Solar Energy. It is listed at ₹21,756 including tax, with 23.8% efficiency, -0.24%/°C Pmax coefficient and a stated 15-year product / 35-year performance warranty. Compare its roof fit and electrical compatibility before choosing it. Devsol 630W TOPCon offers a lower module cost per watt. Subsidised projects need an exact model meeting applicable ALMM, DCR and scheme requirements.

Our picks (data checked September 2026):

  • Best for hot plains (UP, Rajasthan, Gujarat, MP, Haryana, Bihar, Delhi-NCR): Devsol 740W HDT (HDT – Advanced HJT Dual-Side Architecture) — 23.8% efficiency, −0.24%/°C, 15-year product and 35-year performance warranty, ₹21,756 per panel (₹29.40/W).
  • Lowest cost per watt: N-type TOPCon — the Devsol 630W TOPCon bifacial is ₹11,907 (₹18.90/W).
  • Best if you need the PM Surya Ghar subsidy: an ALMM List-I model. In our comparison the exact models confirmed on ALMM List-I were RenewSys DESERV EXTREME R (23.64%), Saatvik SGE600-144TGG (23.23%), Waaree ELITE BiN-08 (22.84%) and Tata Power Solar TP550HG10B (21.29%).
  • Best for mild climates (Bengaluru, Pune, the coasts, hill states): TOPCon gives better value, because a low temperature coefficient pays back less where panels run cooler.

Why heat matters: on an Indian summer roof a panel’s cells can reach about 65°C, 40°C above the 25°C test condition. At −0.24%/°C the Devsol HDT loses about 9.6% of its rated output; a TOPCon panel at −0.31%/°C loses about 12.4%.

ALMM status: Devsol and Nexus Solar Energy panels — ALMM application in process. Not currently ALMM-listed, so not eligible for PM Surya Ghar subsidy. BIS licence R-93046086 covers the models named in its licence schedule; match the exact supplied model.

For an Indian rooftop, compare the exact module rather than a logo: Waaree, Tata Power Solar, Vikram, RenewSys and Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol all publish different technology, warranty and price positions. Current listed module prices in the Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol range run from ₹18.90/W to ₹36.75/W; the right choice depends on roof space, heat, subsidy eligibility and installation design.

Solar-panel specifications and warranties below were checked against manufacturer data sheets or product pages on 2 September 2026. Prices are indicative module prices where a source published one; they are not an installed-system quotation. A lower ₹/W can be useful, but it is not a substitute for checking the exact model, structure, inverter design, warranty terms and installer service.

How We Compared

  • Module efficiency: it indicates how much rated power a module delivers from its area at standard test conditions.
  • Cell technology generation: Mono PERC, TOPCon and HJT have different cell structures and model-specific performance data.
  • Temperature coefficient in Indian heat: Pmax loss per °C matters when module cell temperature rises above the 25°C test condition.
  • Bifaciality: a rear-side response factor can matter on elevated, reflective installations, but actual gain is site-specific.
  • Product versus performance warranty: a product warranty addresses defects; a performance warranty describes output retention over time.
  • ALMM listing: an exact listed model is a buying criterion where PM Surya Ghar or another programme requires it.
  • Service and replacement reach: buyers should confirm local service, the applicable warranty process and stock availability before ordering.

6 October 2026 model update: the Vikram 630W row and added Waaree 730W HJT row use their official HYPERSOL G12R datasheet and official PLEXUS HJT datasheet. The other comparison rows retain the September source-check dates below. A technology label does not establish current ALMM/DCR eligibility. The Devsol and Waaree HJT-based rows both publish -0.24%/°C; that coefficient is not exclusive to Devsol.

Source note, checked 2 September 2026: manufacturer data sheets and product pages are listed in the associated source log. Empty cells mean the required value was not sourced for the exact representative model and must not be inferred. ALMM status is model-specific, not a brand-wide guarantee.

How should a buyer use this table? Start by crossing out rows that cannot meet the project’s eligibility requirement. Next, compare modules of a similar size and technology with the roof plan, because a high-wattage module can be physically larger and heavier even when its ₹/W is attractive. Then ask the installer for the data sheet, warranty document and final part number that will appear on the invoice. The published family range, a brochure image or a seller’s generic claim should never replace the part-number check.

Efficiency figures here are module values measured at standard test conditions, not a promise of annual generation. A 23% module is not automatically the best fit for every roof if its format, price, programme status or warranty process does not fit the project. Conversely, a lower-efficiency module can be a sound choice where roof area is available and the complete installed proposal is better. That is why the table deliberately keeps unavailable cells empty rather than converting a related model’s claim into a fact for another model.

ALMM, Subsidy and What It Actually Changes

ALMM List-I is the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s approved list of solar photovoltaic module models and manufacturers. For a residential buyer, the practical question is not whether a familiar brand has an entry somewhere in the list: it is whether the exact module proposed for the project is listed and meets the current programme, DISCOM and vendor requirements. That is particularly important for a PM Surya Ghar installation, where eligibility should be confirmed before a buyer pays for equipment.

Current ALMM List-I records include exact representative models checked here from Waaree, Tata Power Solar, RenewSys and Saatvik. Manufacturer entries also appear for Adani, Vikram, Premier Energies, Goldi and Rayzon, but an exact-model match should be verified again against the final quotation rather than assumed from a family name.

ALMM application in process. Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol panels are not currently ALMM-listed, so they are not eligible for PM Surya Ghar subsidy. BIS licence R-93046086 covers the models named in its licence schedule; match the exact supplied model.

This does not decide every private commercial or industrial purchase. It does mean a buyer who requires PM Surya Ghar support should select an exact eligible module through the project’s approved process, while a private buyer can compare the complete technical and commercial proposal on its own terms.

TOPCon, HJT and What Comes Next

Older Mono PERC modules generally use a P-type silicon base. N-type technologies use a differently doped base and have become central to newer high-efficiency module families. TOPCon adds a thin tunnel oxide and passivated contact structure to reduce recombination losses. It is widely available in current Indian 540–650W class modules and is represented in the table by multiple manufacturer-published data sheets.

HJT, or heterojunction technology, combines crystalline silicon with thin amorphous-silicon layers. Its design can deliver a lower published Pmax temperature coefficient on a particular module. The real-world implication is straightforward: when a module’s cell temperature rises above 25°C, the module’s Pmax changes according to that model’s coefficient. A module published at -0.24%/°C and another published at -0.32%/°C should be compared with their wattage, dimensions, warranty and actual site design; the coefficient is a model fact, not a standalone energy-yield promise.

On a 45°C summer day, module cell temperature can be much higher than ambient. Roof ventilation, mounting clearance, irradiance, wind and surface temperature all affect that condition. This is why an installer should use the selected module’s data sheet and site layout rather than apply a generic “summer gain” percentage. HJT Solar Panel, Bifacial HJT and N-Type HJT are useful search terms, but the correct engineering decision remains the exact electrical and mechanical specification.

Bifacial modules generate from the front and can respond to reflected light at the rear. A published bifaciality factor describes laboratory response. Actual rear-side output depends on mounting height, tilt, row spacing, rear shading and albedo. A raised array over a light-coloured roof or surface may benefit more than a module installed close to a dark roof. Bifacial capability therefore belongs in a site-specific comparison, not a universal percentage claim.

HDT (Heterojunction Dual-side Technology) is an Advanced HJT-based dual-side solar architecture engineered to optimise front- and rear-side optical response, surface passivation, current collection, bifacial energy yield and module-level performance.

The current Devsol 740W HDT module publishes 23.8% module efficiency, a -0.24%/°C Pmax temperature coefficient, a 90±5% bifacial factor, 15-year product warranty and 35-year linear performance warranty. Read the focused HDT and Advanced HJT page for the technology/product context, then validate the current product record before placing an order.

TOPCon versus HJT is therefore not a one-word answer. TOPCon can be a practical mainstream N-type choice where the selected model, price and programme requirements fit. HJT can be relevant where a particular module’s temperature coefficient, bifacial design and format fit the project. An HJT solar panel vs bifacial solar panel comparison is also not like-for-like: the first phrase refers to the cell architecture and the second to front-and-rear light response. A buyer can ask whether a specific module is HJT, whether it is bifacial, and what its published bifaciality factor is.

For an engineering quotation, obtain these five values from the exact solar module data sheet: Pmax, module efficiency, Voc, Isc and Pmax temperature coefficient. Then ensure the string design works with the inverter’s voltage and current limits in local expected temperature conditions. High-wattage solar modules may reduce panel count, but their dimensions, weight, lifting method, wind loading and roof structure must also be reviewed. That is especially relevant for the 740W class, where a module can be a strong commercial or industrial option but may not be the easiest module to handle on a small residential roof.

Which One Should You Buy

  • Subsidy-eligible rooftop shortlist: Waaree BiN-08-590, Tata Power Solar TP550HG10B, RenewSys DESERV EXTREME R-610 and Saatvik SGE600-144TGG have exact representative-model List-I evidence in this comparison; confirm the final quoted SKU with the programme workflow.
  • High-efficiency TOPCon comparison: RenewSys DESERV EXTREME R-610 publishes 23.64%, so it is a logical model to compare where roof area is constrained.
  • High-output Advanced HJT project option: Devsol 740W HDT suits a proposal where its published 740W nameplate, 23.8% efficiency, dimensions and handling requirements fit the roof or project layout.
  • Published low temperature coefficient comparison: Devsol 740W HDT publishes -0.24%/°C; Tata TP550HG10B publishes -0.28%/°C and the TOPCon models here are generally around -0.29% to -0.32%/°C. Compare like-for-like data sheets before choosing.
  • Visible retail module-price comparison: Loom SHARK 575W has a listed ₹23.47/W price in the source log. Compare tax, delivery, availability and warranty terms with a local proposal before treating that listing as an installed-system price.
  • Commercial rooftop comparison: Vikram HYPERSOL, RenewSys DESERV EXTREME R, Rayzon L’LIOS and Devsol 740W HDT are all high-wattage modules that should be assessed with string voltage/current, structure, roof loading and handling—not wattage alone.

Nexus Solar Energy and Devsol Panel Range

The current Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol range has seven non-discontinued catalogue models plus a discontinued 730Wp legacy listing; check current stock before ordering: 210Wp bifacial 12V, 575Wp Mono PERC half-cut bifacial, 580W e-rickshaw bifacial, 600Wp N-Type TOPCon, 610Wp N-Type TOPCon glass-to-glass, 630W N-Type TOPCon bifacial, 730Wp HDT and 740W HDT. The live category page publishes MRP and current ₹/W, including ₹18.90/W for the 630W TOPCon, ₹20.48/W for the 600Wp and 610Wp TOPCon modules, and ₹29.40/W for the listed HDT modules.

Browse the current Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol solar-panel range for availability and live prices. The 730Wp HJT product is discontinued and should not be selected from an older quotation without an explicit current availability check. The 580W e-rickshaw product is a mobility-specific module and carries no category-wide BIS claim.

ALMM application in process. Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol panels are not currently ALMM-listed, so they are not eligible for PM Surya Ghar subsidy. BIS licence R-93046086 covers the models named in its licence schedule; match the exact supplied model.

For a home system, wattage is only one part of sizing. A 2kW, 3kW or 5kW design starts with consumption, daytime load, available unshaded roof, module dimensions, orientation and electrical design. A buyer should not simply divide the target capacity by the largest module nameplate and order that many panels. The installer must confirm string voltage, protection devices, roof structure, mounting arrangement and any applicable local approval. For off-grid and mobility applications, nominal voltage and charge-controller compatibility are also important; those needs differ from a grid-connected rooftop array.

Current MRP is transparent on the category page, but MRP is not the completed project price. Transport, GST treatment, mounting structure, inverter, DC cable, AC protection, installation labour and commissioning can materially affect the final proposal. Request a written itemised quote with the exact module model and warranty terms. If a quote relies on an old product name or a discontinued 730Wp item, request a revised line item before payment.

Panel selection also has to fit the rest of the system. For contextual system-design reading, see the existing Hybrid Solar Inverter guide and Lithium Battery Manufacturer in India guide. Those links are retained as related reading only; this page remains about solar modules.

The current list is maintained on the solar-panel category page. Verify the product page and final invoice because prices and availability can change.

What is the difference between TOPCon vs HJT solar panel technology?

TOPCon and HJT are both newer N-type technology families, but their cell structures differ. Compare the selected module’s published efficiency, Pmax temperature coefficient, bifaciality factor, dimensions and warranties instead of assuming that either label alone predicts the outcome.

How do HDT vs HJT solar panel, HJT panels vs TOPCon and HJT solar panel vs TOPCon comparisons work?

These comparison phrases should lead back to model data rather than generic promises. TOPCon vs HJT, HJT vs TOPCon, HJT vs TOPCon solar panel, n type TOPCon vs HJT and latest technology in solar panels in India are useful research queries, but the decision should use the selected module’s technology, temperature coefficient, bifaciality factor, physical format, warranty and current eligibility.

What is an HDT solar panel and what is the Nexus Solar Energy HDT solar panel price?

HDT — Advanced HJT Dual-Side Architecture. The current Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol category lists its 740W HDT module at ₹29.40/W module MRP; check the current product page and an itemised quotation for final availability and delivered cost.

What is an HJT DCR solar panel?

DCR and HJT describe different things: DCR concerns domestic-content rules for a relevant scheme, while HJT describes cell technology. Confirm the exact programme requirement and the exact module’s documentation; do not infer either status from a category page.

Which is the best HJT solar panel in India?

Our premium HJT-family recommendation is the Devsol 740W HDT (Advanced HJT Dual-Side) panel where its published efficiency, thermal coefficient, warranty, dimensions and electrical ratings fit the project. PM Surya Ghar buyers must use a compliant exact listed model meeting the applicable scheme requirements.

What is the difference between an HJT solar panel and a bifacial solar panel?

HJT describes a cell architecture. Bifacial describes a module’s ability to respond to light at both front and rear. A module can have one or both attributes; use the model data sheet to confirm the actual construction and bifaciality factor.

What are solar modules?

Solar modules are the complete photovoltaic panels installed on a roof or structure. Their cells, glass, frame, junction box, electrical ratings, warranty and certifications are assessed as a module, not only as a cell technology label.

What does HDT mean in a solar panel?

HDT means heterojunction double-sided solar technology, an established implementation within the HJT family also described by other industry suppliers. Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol describes its offering as advanced heterojunction dual-side technology. Use the supplied module datasheet for exact performance values.

Are Nexus Solar Energy solar panels eligible for PM Surya Ghar subsidy?

ALMM application in process. Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol panels are not currently ALMM-listed, so they are not eligible for PM Surya Ghar subsidy. BIS licence R-93046086 covers the models named in its licence schedule; match the exact supplied model.

Original panel field demonstration and current-model selection

Watch Deepak Chaudhary’s TOPCon, HJT and HDT field comparison for a practical explanation of winter fog, front/rear light, panel voltage/current and cleaning. The recording describes a December 2025 setup, including 730W HJT/HDT, 610W TOPCon and older mono-PERC panels, with changing sunlight during the sequence. Use it to understand operating behaviour; choose the currently supplied model from its own datasheet and quotation.

For a premium current proposal, compare the available Nexus Solar Energy/Devsol panel models on the same roof and installed DC capacity. Ask for the layout, module dimensions/weight, inverter voltage/current compatibility, mounting and access costs, cleaning plan, written warranty and delivered system price. Higher nameplate watts alone do not establish higher module efficiency or the lowest installed cost.

For a scheme-linked purchase, check the exact offered manufacturer/model against the current applicable programme requirements. For an independent non-subsidy installation, select the model and complete system on the site’s needs. The discontinued 575W/580W models shown in older material are not current purchase recommendations.

Lithium Battery Manufacturer in India: How to Verify Any Claim

Choosing a lithium battery manufacturer in India comes down to one question: can the manufacturer prove what it claims? Almost every brand advertises high cycle life, a smart BMS and long warranty. Very few give the buyer any way to check those numbers. This guide lists the seven checks a buyer can perform before paying — and answers each one for Nexus Solar Energy, an Indian lithium battery manufacturer based in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, with published specifications and a 1150+ dealer network.

This page names no competitor. It gives you the questions instead. Ask them of any manufacturer, including this one.

Why Do Lithium Battery Claims Need Verifying at All?

A lithium battery is a five-to-fifteen year purchase, and its two most expensive components — the cells and the BMS — are sealed inside a box that looks identical across every brand. Two batteries of the same 100Ah 12.8V rating can differ by more than double in price and by thousands of cycles in real life, and the outside of the box will not tell you which is which.

That is why the useful questions are not "which brand is best" but "what can this manufacturer show me". The seven checks below are ordered by how much money they save you.

Check 1: Can the Battery Count Its Own Cycles?

The claim: "3,000 / 5,000 / 6,000 cycle life."

The problem: cycle life is the single most common specification in the market and the single hardest to verify. If the battery has no way to display how many cycles it has used, the number on the datasheet can never be checked by you — not at purchase, not during warranty, not in a dispute. Laboratory cycle testing is neither practical nor affordable for an individual buyer.

The check: ask whether the battery shows a live cycle count on its own display. If a manufacturer builds a genuinely high-cycle cell into a battery, it has every reason to let you see the count — the number protects the manufacturer as much as the buyer.

Nexus Solar Energy answer: display models show the live cycle count on the built-in LCD, alongside per-cell temperature and state of charge. A new unit reads 00 cycles; the count rises with use, so both sides can see the truth at any point in the battery's life.

Check 2: Does the BMS Have Active or Passive Balancing?

The claim: "Smart BMS."

The problem: over thousands of cycles, individual cells inside a pack drift out of balance. Once they do, the weakest cell decides the backup you get, and the pack's usable life collapses well before the advertised cycle figure. A battery advertising 6,000 cycles with no balancing cannot deliver full backup for 6,000 cycles — the two claims contradict each other.

The check: ask specifically whether the BMS performs active or passive cell balancing. "Smart BMS" alone is not an answer.

Nexus Solar Energy answer: every Nexus Solar Energy lithium battery uses a smart BMS with active cell balancing and built-in temperature sensors. Active balancing redistributes charge between cells rather than burning the excess off as heat.

Check 3: Hardware BMS or Configurable Software BMS — Which One Fits Your Inverter?

The claim: "Compatible with all inverters."

The problem: this is where most buyers lose money, and it is not the battery's fault. Two different BMS types exist:

Hardware BMS Smart software BMS
Cut-off settings Fixed at the factory Configurable
Match to inverter Only if pre-set values match your inverter Adjustable to your inverter
Communication None RS485 / CAN with compatible hybrid inverters
Price Lower Higher
Best for An inverter whose charge and discharge voltages match the battery's pre-set values Modern hybrid inverters, or if you may change inverters later

A hardware-BMS battery is not a bad battery — it is rugged, low-maintenance and cheaper. It becomes a problem only when its fixed cut-off values do not match your inverter's. Then the battery either never charges fully or cuts off early, and the buyer concludes the battery is defective.

The check: before buying, compare the battery's charge and discharge voltage specification against your inverter's charge and cut-off settings. If they do not match, you need a configurable battery.

Nexus Solar Energy answer: Nexus Solar Energy manufactures both types. Configurable models communicate with hybrid inverters over RS485, so the inverter's settings apply to the battery and the pack delivers its full rated backup and life.

Check 4: Is the Cycle Life Rated at Full Capacity?

The claim: "5,000 cycles."

The problem: a cycle figure means little without the load it was measured at. A 2.5kWh battery should deliver its rated power for the rated duration — 2.5kW for roughly one hour. If a pack can only sustain half that load, it is not a 2.5kWh battery in practice, and its cycle rating was measured under conditions you will never use it in. This is the C-rating question, and it is the reason some lithium batteries disappoint on heavy loads like an air conditioner or a 1.5HP motor.

The check: ask what continuous discharge current the pack supports, and confirm the cycle figure is rated at that current — not at a gentler one.

Nexus Solar Energy answer: Nexus Solar Energy publishes the BMS current rating for every battery. A 100A BMS supports 100A of continuous load; beyond that the battery enters protection and cuts off — by design, to prevent damage.

Check 5: Does Your Battery Capacity Match Your Inverter Capacity?

This is not a manufacturer question — it is the mistake more than half of lithium battery complaints come from, and no manufacturer can fix it for you.

If you install a 2.5kWh battery on a 4kW inverter and then run a 4kW load, the battery's BMS will cut off at its current limit and the inverter will shut down. Buyers read this as a faulty battery. It is the opposite: it is the protection working exactly as intended.

The rule: the battery bank's capacity should be at least equal to the inverter's capacity. A 3kW inverter needs a battery rated 3kW or higher.

Nexus Solar Energy answer: Nexus Solar Energy lithium batteries support up to 16 units in parallel, so a bank can be sized to the inverter now and expanded later without replacing what you already own.

Check 6: What Is the Warranty — and Is It the Same Number as "Life"?

The claim: "15 year life."

The problem: "life" and "warranty" are different words with very different obligations. A battery advertised as having a fifteen-year life may carry a five-year warranty. Both statements can be true simultaneously, and a buyer reading quickly will remember the larger number.

The check: ask for the warranty period in writing, separately from any life or cycle claim, and ask what the warranty covers.

Nexus Solar Energy answer: warranty is stated by series, in writing:

Series Cycle life Warranty
Nexus Solar Energy ECO 3,500 cycles 5 years*
Nexus Solar Energy Premium 5,000 cycles 5 years*
DEVSOL Premium 6,500 cycles 15 years*

*Warranty terms and conditions apply.

Check 7: Can You Verify the Manufacturer Itself?

The claim: "BIS certified", "ISO certified", "India's No.1".

The problem: certification claims are frequently stated without the licence number that makes them checkable, and are sometimes applied to product categories the licence does not cover. A certificate covers a specific standard, a specific product category and a specific list of models — nothing else.

The check: ask for the licence number and the IS standard, then verify it on the BIS website. If a manufacturer cannot give you the number, the claim is not a claim.

Nexus Solar Energy answer — stated precisely, including what is not covered:

Product category BIS status
Solar panels BIS registered — IS 14286 (Part 1/Sec 1):2023, Licence No. R-93046086
Hybrid inverters BIS registered — IS 16221 (Part 2):2015 & IS 16169:2014 (utility-interconnected PV inverters), Licence No. R-93035050
Lithium batteries BIS registered, IS 16046 (Part 2):2018 / IEC 62133-2:2017, Licence No. R-93022772

All three licences are held by Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd, Chola Industrial Area, Bulandshahr, and apply to specific listed models. Ask for the model designation, not just the number.

The battery row above shows why the exact standard and licence number matter: both can be checked against the specific product category and listed models.

Who Manufactures Nexus Solar Energy Lithium Batteries?

Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd was founded in 2019 by Deepak Chaudhary, who entered the battery industry more than 17 years ago through battery plate and battery fabrication — a manufacturing background rather than a trading one. Batteries are produced at the Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh facility and supported through a network of more than 1150 dealers across India, which matters for a five- or fifteen-year warranty: a warranty is only as good as the network that services it in year twelve.

The company's work has been covered by Aaj Tak (March 2024, solar AC technology coverage) and EV Update Media (April–May 2024, battery technology interview), and the founder's contribution to solar education was recognised by NIELIT Ladakh, an institute under the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India, in September 2025.

The Nexus Solar Energy Lithium Range

LiFePO4 batteries in 12.8V, 25.6V and 51.2V configurations from 100Ah, across the ECO, Premium and DEVSOL series, plus LTO (lithium titanate) cells and EV batteries. Every model's specification and MRP is published openly — no "call for price" — on the lithium battery category page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check a lithium battery's real cycle life?

Ask whether the battery displays its own cycle count. Batteries with a live cycle counter on the LCD let you see exactly how many cycles have been used at any time; without that feature, an advertised cycle figure cannot be verified by a buyer at all.

What is the difference between a hardware BMS and a smart BMS?

A hardware BMS has fixed factory cut-off settings and cannot communicate with the inverter — cheaper and rugged, but it only suits inverters whose charge and discharge voltages match its pre-set values. A smart software BMS is configurable and can communicate with hybrid inverters over RS485 or CAN, so the inverter's settings apply to the battery.

Why does my lithium battery cut off and show a red alarm?

Usually because the load exceeded the BMS current rating — for example a 100A BMS carrying more than 100A. This is protection working correctly, not a fault. It commonly happens when a large inverter is paired with a smaller battery; the battery bank should be rated at least equal to the inverter's capacity.

Does a longer cycle life mean a longer warranty?

No. Cycle life and warranty are separate figures. A battery can be advertised with a fifteen-year life and carry a five-year warranty. Always ask for the warranty period in writing, separately from any cycle or life claim.

Are Nexus Solar Energy lithium batteries BIS certified?

Yes. Lithium batteries — BIS registered, IS 16046 (Part 2):2018 / IEC 62133-2:2017, Licence No. R-93022772.

What is the longest warranty on a lithium battery in India?

Nexus Solar Energy's DEVSOL Premium series carries a 15-year* warranty backed by a 6,500-cycle LiFePO4 design — among the longest written warranties offered on lithium batteries in the Indian market. *Terms and conditions apply.

How many lithium batteries can be connected in parallel?

Up to 16 Nexus Solar Energy lithium batteries can be connected in parallel, so a bank can start small and expand as load or backup requirements grow.

Which lithium battery is right for a hybrid inverter?

For a modern hybrid inverter, a configurable smart-BMS battery with RS485 or CAN communication is the better match, because the inverter's charge and cut-off settings then apply to the battery. Match the battery bank capacity to the inverter capacity, and confirm the BMS current rating supports your peak load.

Hybrid Solar Inverter: The Complete India Guide

A hybrid solar inverter is a single device that manages three power sources together — solar panels, the electricity grid, and a battery — and decides, moment to moment, which source runs your home. It converts DC power from panels into AC for your appliances, charges the battery when there is surplus solar, draws from the grid when solar falls short, and switches to battery backup when the grid fails.

This guide is written by Nexus Solar Energy, an Indian manufacturer of hybrid inverters from 2kW to 100kW, and covers everything an Indian buyer needs: how the technology works, battery-less operation, sizing, 24V vs 48V, IP ratings, warranty logic, and realistic 2026 prices.

How Does a Hybrid Solar Inverter Work?

A hybrid inverter continuously balances four energy flows:

  1. Solar → Home. During daylight, panel power runs your appliances directly — the cheapest electricity you will ever use.
  2. Solar → Battery. Surplus solar charges the battery through the inverter’s built-in MPPT charge controller.
  3. Grid → Home (and battery). When solar is insufficient — evening, monsoon, heavy load — the grid fills the gap automatically, with no switch to press.
  4. Battery → Home. When the grid fails, the inverter switches your load to battery within milliseconds, so fans, lights and Wi-Fi don’t blink.

The intelligence is in the priority logic: a good hybrid inverter always uses the cheapest available source first (solar), and the most expensive (grid at peak tariff) last.

Hybrid vs On-Grid vs Off-Grid: Which Type Do You Need?

On-Grid Inverter Off-Grid Inverter Hybrid Inverter
Cuts electricity bill Yes Partially Yes
Backup during power cut No Yes Yes (with battery)
Works without battery Yes No Yes (battery-less capable models)
Add battery later Never Already has one Any time
Best for Reliable-grid areas No-grid areas Most Indian homes and shops

The practical answer for most Indian buyers: the grid is neither reliable enough for pure on-grid, nor absent enough for off-grid. A hybrid inverter covers both realities — which is why it has become the default choice for Indian homes, shops and small institutions.

Can a Hybrid Inverter Run Without a Battery?

Yes — if the model is battery-less capable. Every Nexus Solar Energy hybrid inverter (2kW–100kW) can run with no battery connected, operating like an on-grid system: solar runs the load, the grid covers the shortfall. The battery — often 40–50% of total system cost — becomes optional on day one instead of compulsory. You start saving on your bill immediately and add lithium, lead-acid, tubular or sodium batteries whenever your budget allows, without replacing anything.

Full explanation: Hybrid Inverter Without Battery: How Battery-Less Operation Works.

What Size Hybrid Inverter Do You Need?

Your situation Typical load Recommended size
1–2 BHK home — lights, fans, TV, fridge up to 1.5kW 2kW
2–3 BHK home + 1 AC or motor 2–2.5kW 3kW – 3.5kW
3–4 BHK home + 1.5-ton AC 3.5–4kW 5kW
Large home / small shop + 2 ACs 5–7kW 8kW
Shop, clinic, school floor 7–9kW 10kW – 11kW
Small factory, hospital, institution (three-phase) 10kW+ 15kW 3-Phase, or parallel units

Rule of thumb: size the inverter about 25% above your simultaneous peak load, and match panel capacity to your daytime consumption. Nexus Solar Energy parallel-capable models (6kW–11kW) can be combined and configured single-phase or three-phase, and can synchronize with a diesel generator — so a growing business never outgrows the system.

24V vs 48V: What’s the Difference?

Battery-bank voltage decides current flow: at the same power, a 48V system carries half the current of a 24V system — thinner cables, lower losses, better efficiency at higher loads. Practical rule: up to 3.5kW, 24V is economical; at 5kW and above, 48V is the engineering standard — though 24V at 5kW still makes sense for budget builds and existing 24V battery banks. Nexus Solar Energy manufactures both, and publishes the voltage of every model openly.

What Is MPPT and Why Does It Matter?

MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is the charge-controller technology that continuously finds the voltage-current combination at which your panels produce maximum power — typically extracting 20–30% more energy than older PWM controllers, especially in partial cloud and high heat. Every Nexus Solar Energy hybrid inverter uses MPPT, with high-current variants up to 100A and 160A for large battery banks and commercial use.

IP Ratings and Warranty: The Honest Connection

An inverter’s IP (Ingress Protection) rating tells you how well it is sealed against dust and water — and it honestly predicts service life. That is why Nexus Solar Energy ties warranty directly to IP class, in writing:

Protection class Where it suits Nexus Solar Energy warranty
IP21 Indoor installation 2 years
IP54 Dust-protected, splash-resistant — semi-open spaces 4 years
IP65 / IP66 Outdoor-grade sealing 5 years

When comparing any inverter brand, ask for the IP rating in writing — a warranty number without a protection class behind it is a marketing number.

Which Batteries Work With a Hybrid Inverter?

Nexus Solar Energy hybrid inverters support four chemistries: lead-acid, tubular, lithium (LiFePO4), and sodium — the widest practical compatibility in the Indian market, including readiness for sodium, the next chemistry entering India. With LiFePO4 batteries, up to 16 units connect in parallel, so storage grows with your needs. Battery selection guide: Lithium Battery Buying Guide.

Hybrid Solar Inverter Price in India (2026)

Realistic MRP ranges, using Nexus Solar Energy’s openly published prices as the manufacturer reference:

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a hybrid solar inverter in simple words?

A hybrid solar inverter is one device that runs your home on solar power during the day, grid power when solar is insufficient, and battery power during a power cut — automatically choosing the cheapest available source at every moment.

Is a hybrid inverter better than a normal inverter?

For most Indian homes, yes. A normal (off-grid) inverter only charges from the grid and gives backup; a hybrid inverter additionally runs your home on free solar power and can export surplus, cutting the monthly bill — while still providing backup.

Can a hybrid solar inverter work without a battery?

Yes, if it is battery-less capable. All Nexus Solar Energy hybrid inverters (2kW–100kW) run without a battery, functioning like an on-grid system, and accept a battery any time later.

Which hybrid inverter size is best for a home with one AC?

A 3kW–3.5kW hybrid inverter handles a typical 2–3 BHK home with one AC; with a 1.5-ton AC plus normal household load, choose 5kW.

What is the price of a hybrid solar inverter in India?

In 2026, hybrid inverter MRPs in India start around ₹32,000 for 2kW and go up to about ₹3.5 lakh for 15kW three-phase. Nexus Solar Energy’s 5kW hybrid model is ₹76,125 MRP.

What warranty should a hybrid inverter have?

Warranty should match the build class: indoor IP21 units typically 2 years, IP54 units 4 years, and outdoor-grade IP65/IP66 units 5 years — which is exactly how Nexus Solar Energy warranties are structured.

Which batteries can I connect to a hybrid inverter?

Depends on the model. Nexus Solar Energy hybrid inverters support lead-acid, tubular, lithium (LiFePO4) and sodium batteries, with up to 16 lithium units in parallel.

Are hybrid inverters made in India?

Solar AC in India: The Aaj Tak–Featured NEX Suncool Story

In March 2024, Aaj Tak — India’s largest Hindi news network — covered solar air conditioners in its technology section and featured one brand by name: Nexus Solar Energy’s NEX Suncool 1X Ai Split AC, noting how few branded solar AC options existed in the Indian market at the time. Read the Aaj Tak coverage. This page explains the technology behind that coverage and the range that has grown from it.

How the Hybrid Solar AC Works

Connect 3 to 5 solar panels of around 500W directly to the AC alongside your normal grid supply. Through Indian afternoons — exactly when cooling demand peaks — the panels power the compressor and grid consumption for cooling drops to near zero. When solar dips, the grid fills the gap automatically, with no interruption. At night, the AC’s AI mode optimizes the compressor for ultra-low grid consumption.

Designed for TOD tariffs. As DISCOMs move to time-of-day billing — costlier evening power — this design pays more every year: free solar by day, minimal grid draw when solar is unavailable.

Convertible compressor. Cooling capacity adjusts up or down — one unit matched to a large hall in peak summer or a bedroom at night, and to whatever solar power is available on a cloudy day.

No battery needed. The system runs on solar plus grid, keeping cost far below battery-backed cooling.

The Range

Split and window models, MRP published openly: NEX NX1X Ai Split AC (₹42,147.24), ECO Breeze AI Window Solar AC (₹40,764.28), and the Nex-Suncool 1x AI Split (Hybrid) — full details on the solar AC category page. Units are available across India through Nexus Solar Energy’s 1150+ dealer network.

Who Gains the Most

Shops, clinics, offices and work-from-home households — anyone cooling primarily during daylight hours, when usage and solar generation overlap almost completely. A 1.5-ton AC running 8 hours daily can add ₹3,000–₹5,000 to a monthly bill; shifting the daytime share of that load to solar attacks the single largest line on the bill first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which solar AC was featured by Aaj Tak?

Nexus Solar Energy’s NEX Suncool 1X Ai Split AC, in Aaj Tak’s March 2024 technology coverage of solar air conditioners in India.

How many panels does a hybrid solar AC need?

3 to 5 panels of around 500W, connected directly to the unit alongside the grid supply.

Does it work at night or in cloudy weather?

Yes — the grid fills any gap automatically, and the AI night mode keeps grid consumption low after sunset.

Does a solar AC need a battery?

No. It runs on solar and grid together, which keeps the system cost well below battery-backed setups.

Hybrid Inverter Manufacturer in India: The Battery-Less Technology Built by Nexus Solar Energy

Nexus Solar Energy supplies hybrid solar inverters for Indian solar-plus-backup systems, including models that can operate without a battery when sufficient PV is available. Choose the exact model by load, battery voltage, placement and required backup. Daytime battery-less operation and grid-export approval are separate requirements; storage is still needed for the specified load when PV is unavailable.

The Range

2kW to 100kW hybrid inverters, including single-phase and three-phase configurable parallel models (6kW, 8kW, 10kW, 11kW), manufactured in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Current listed models, prices and specifications are published on the hybrid inverter category page.

Engineering That Sets the Range Apart

Battery-less operation on the specified model. Design the PV input and daytime load within that model’s operating limits. When adding storage, match the supported chemistry, voltage window, charging/current limits and communication settings. Confirm the exact model’s grid-export and backup arrangement in the proposal.

Battery options depend on the model. Compare supported lead-acid/tubular or LiFePO4 settings in the exact inverter manual. A sodium-battery proposal needs its own approved operating window, current limits and communication arrangement before commissioning.

Warranty tied to build class, in writing. IP21 models: 2 years. IP54 models: 4 years. IP65/IP66 models: 5 years. The IP rating tells you the protection level; the warranty follows it honestly.

High-current MPPT options. Charge controller variants up to 100A and 160A support large battery banks with fast charging — commercial capability in an Indian-made unit.

Generator and remote-monitoring options. Specify these features on the exact quoted model, including the supported generator connection, synchronization mode and required monitoring equipment. Parallel and three-phase configurations also require the matching model and configuration plan.

Made in India, repairable in India. Designed and manufactured under the direction of founder Deepak Chaudhary (17 years in battery and solar manufacturing), with service enquiries routed through the dealer locator and support contact. Confirm the local repair route and applicable transport terms for the supplied unit.

Why Battery-Less Matters for Indian Buyers

A typical household delays solar for one reason: total system cost, and the battery is the biggest chunk of it. Battery-less capable hybrids remove that barrier — bill savings start from day one, and the battery is bought later, often from the savings themselves. For a full explanation, read: Hybrid Inverter Without Battery: How Battery-Less Operation Works.

Recognition

Founder Deepak Chaudhary’s work in solar technology education was recognized by NIELIT Ladakh (Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India) in September 2025, and his perspective on inverter and battery technology was featured by EV Update Media (Apr–May 2024). Nexus Solar Energy participated as an Exhibition Partner at UP Energy Expo 2025, Lucknow.

This guide explains the published series specifications, model selection, warranty conditions and available certification documents. Compare the exact battery model and written terms before ordering.

Published Series Claims and Model-Specific Warranty

Series Cycle Life Warranty
Nexus Solar Energy ECO / ECO Plus 3,000+ cycles 5 years*
Nexus Solar Energy Premium 4,500+ cycles 5 years*
DEVSOL Premium 6,500+ cycles 15 years*

Cycle life is measured under specified test conditions, including depth of discharge, charge/discharge rate, temperature and end-of-life capacity. A stated cycle count does not by itself guarantee the same number of calendar years in service. The figures above are published series claims; ask for the exact model’s test report and written warranty terms before comparing batteries. Warranty terms and conditions apply.

Battery Features to Verify for the Exact Model

LiFePO4 chemistry. The solar-storage models listed below use lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4). LTO products are a separate chemistry. Confirm the permitted operating temperatures and installation conditions in the exact model datasheet.

Smart BMS with active cell balancing. Selected models advertise active balancing and temperature monitoring. Confirm the BMS model, communication compatibility, protection limits and balancing specification. Balancing alone does not establish a guaranteed cycle life or equal cell ageing.

Live cycle counting. Some display models provide a cycle counter. A cycle counter is not a measurement of remaining usable capacity; capacity and health assessment also depend on load testing, voltage, temperature and the model’s service procedure.

16-battery parallel expansion. Selected Smart BMS models list expansion up to sixteen compatible batteries. Confirm the exact model, matching voltage, firmware/communication, protection and installation requirements before combining batteries.

Hybrid Solar AC: How It Works and Who It’s For

Hybrid Solar AC: How It Works and Who It’s For

Air conditioning is the biggest single contributor to summer electricity bills in Indian homes. A 1.5-ton AC running 8 hours a day can add ₹3,000–₹5,000 to a monthly bill, depending on your tariff. A hybrid solar AC attacks this cost directly: it runs on solar panels during the day and switches intelligently to low-consumption grid operation when solar is not available.

Nexus Solar Energy, among the early Indian manufacturers of hybrid solar AC, builds these units specifically for Indian tariff structures and Indian summer conditions. This guide explains how the technology works and whether it fits your situation.

Nexus Solar Energy’s solar AC range was featured by Aaj Tak in its March 2024 technology coverage of solar air conditioners in India.

How a Hybrid Solar AC Works

A hybrid solar AC connects to two power sources at the same time: your rooftop solar panels and your normal grid supply.

Daytime — solar does the work. Connect 3 to 5 solar panels of around 500W each directly to the AC. During sunlight hours, the panels power the compressor, and your grid consumption drops to near zero for cooling. This is exactly when you need cooling most — Indian afternoons — and exactly when solar generation peaks. The match is natural.

Cloudy moments and evenings — grid fills the gap. When solar output dips, the AC draws the balance from the grid automatically. There is no switch to press and no interruption in cooling.

Night — AI mode takes over. At night the AC’s AI mode activates, optimizing compressor behaviour for low-consumption grid operation, so night cooling does not undo the daytime savings.

Designed for TOD Tariffs

Many DISCOMs are moving to TOD (time-of-day) tariffs, where evening and night electricity costs more than daytime power. The Nexus Solar Energy hybrid solar AC is designed around this structure: it uses free solar power during the day and runs at ultra-low grid consumption when solar is unavailable. As TOD billing spreads to more states, this design becomes more valuable every year.

Convertible Compressor: One AC, Many Rooms

The unit uses a convertible compressor, meaning its cooling capacity can be adjusted up or down. Practical benefits:

  • Use higher capacity for a large living room in peak summer, lower capacity for a bedroom at night.
  • Run at reduced capacity on partly cloudy days to stay within available solar power.
  • Install the same unit in different room sizes without buying different tonnage models for each room.

Who Should Buy a Hybrid Solar AC

Best fit:

  • Homes and shops with 8+ hours of daily AC use in summer — the higher your usage, the faster the payback.
  • Buyers with shadow-free roof space for 3–5 panels (roughly 10–12 square meters).
  • Areas with high daytime tariffs or TOD billing.
  • Shops, clinics and offices that cool primarily during business (daylight) hours — the ideal use case, since usage and solar generation overlap almost completely.

Think twice if:

  • Your AC use is mostly at night only — you will still save via AI mode’s low consumption, but the solar advantage is smaller.
  • You have no usable roof or balcony space for panels.

Hybrid Solar AC vs Running a Normal AC on a Solar System

You can also run a regular AC on a full rooftop solar system with a hybrid inverter. The difference:

  • A full solar system (panels + hybrid inverter + optional battery) powers your whole home, including the AC. Larger investment, whole-house benefit.
  • A hybrid solar AC is a targeted solution: dedicated panels power just the AC. Smaller investment, and it attacks the single largest item on your bill first.

Many customers start with a hybrid solar AC, experience the bill reduction, and then expand to a full Nexus Solar Energy solar system later. The two approaches also combine well — the AC’s dedicated panels reduce the size (and cost) of the main system you need.

Where the system runs on battery backup, the 100Ah 12.8V lithium battery is the 12V option at ₹37,316 including tax.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many solar panels does a hybrid solar AC need?

3 to 5 panels of around 500W each, depending on the model and your cooling needs. The panels connect to the AC unit and power it directly during sunlight hours.

Does the AC stop working when clouds come?

No. The unit draws the shortfall from the grid automatically and instantly. Cooling continues without interruption; only the power source mix changes.

Does it work at night?

Yes. At night the AC runs on grid power in AI mode, which optimizes the compressor for low consumption. Daytime running is where the biggest savings come from.

Does a hybrid solar AC need a battery?

No. It runs on solar and grid together, without a battery. This keeps the cost of the system significantly lower than a battery-backed setup.

Can one unit work for different room sizes?

Yes. The convertible compressor allows cooling capacity to be adjusted, so the same unit can be matched to different room sizes and different weather conditions.

How much can I save on my electricity bill?

Savings depend on your daily AC hours, your tariff, and your sunlight hours. The largest savings go to users who cool during the day — shops, offices, work-from-home setups — because solar then covers most of the AC’s consumption. Contact Nexus Solar Energy with your usage pattern for a savings estimate for your specific case.

Hybrid Inverter Without Battery: How Battery-Less Operation Works

Hybrid Inverter Without Battery: How Battery-Less Operation Works

Most people believe a hybrid solar inverter cannot run without a battery. That was true for older designs. Modern hybrid inverters — including the Nexus Solar Energy hybrid range — support battery-less operation. You can install the inverter with solar panels today, run your home or business like an on-grid system, and add batteries later whenever you want backup.

This guide explains how battery-less operation works, when it makes sense, and what to check before buying.

What Does “Battery-Less” Mean in a Hybrid Inverter

A hybrid inverter normally manages three power sources: solar panels, the grid, and a battery. In battery-less mode, the battery is simply not connected. The inverter then works in solar-priority mode:

  • During the day, solar power runs your appliances directly.
  • If solar generation is less than your load, the inverter draws the balance from the grid.
  • If solar generation is more than your load, the surplus can be exported to the grid (where net metering is approved).
  • At night, the grid supplies your load as normal.

In short, the inverter behaves like an on-grid solar system — cutting your electricity bill from day one — while keeping the option open to add battery backup any time in the future.

Why This Matters for Indian Buyers

Battery cost is the single biggest reason people delay going solar. A lithium battery bank can cost as much as the inverter and panels combined. Battery-less capable hybrid inverters remove that barrier:

Start small, expand later. Install panels and the hybrid inverter first. Your bill savings begin immediately. Add a lithium battery after one or two years when your budget allows — no need to replace the inverter.

One inverter for both worlds. With a normal on-grid inverter, adding backup later means buying a second inverter or replacing the system. A battery-less capable hybrid inverter is future-proof: the battery terminals are already there.

Good fit for low-power-cut areas. If your area has reliable grid supply, you may never need a battery at all. You still get the bill savings of solar, with backup as an option, not a compulsion.

When a Battery Still Makes Sense

Battery-less operation is not the right choice for everyone. Connect a battery if:

  • Your area has frequent or long power cuts — without a battery, a hybrid inverter cannot supply your load during a grid failure, for safety reasons.
  • You run critical loads — medical equipment, shop billing systems, cold storage — where even short outages cost money.
  • You want to use stored solar power at night instead of buying grid units at evening tariff rates.

The advantage of the Nexus Solar Energy hybrid range is that this is not a one-time decision. You can begin battery-less and change your mind later.

Nexus Solar Energy Hybrid Inverters: Battery-Less Capability and Beyond

The Nexus Solar Energy hybrid inverter range (2kW to 100kW) supports battery-less operation across its models. Beyond that, the higher-capacity models add features usually found only in imported commercial inverters:

Parallel operation. The 6kW, 8kW, 10kW and 11kW parallel-capable models can be combined to build larger systems, and can be configured as single-phase or three-phase — useful for workshops, schools, hospitals and small factories that need three-phase supply.

Generator synchronization. The inverters can sync with a diesel generator, so sites that keep a DG set for emergencies can integrate solar, grid, generator and battery in one system.

High-current MPPT charging. MPPT charge controller variants up to 100A and 160A allow larger battery banks to charge quickly — important for commercial users who add multiple batteries.

Wide battery compatibility. Lead-acid, tubular, lithium and sodium batteries are all supported. You are not locked into one battery type or one brand.

Remote operation. Systems can be monitored and operated remotely — useful for dealers managing multiple customer sites, and for owners of farmhouses or second properties.

Touch screen and protection. A touch screen interface with built-in electrical protection and security features comes as standard.

Made and repaired in India. The full hybrid range is designed and manufactured in India under the direction of founder Deepak Chaudhary, and can be repaired within India — no sending units abroad, no waiting months for imported spare parts.

How to Set Up Battery-Less Operation

1. Size the solar array to your daytime load. For battery-less use, panel capacity should roughly match your daytime consumption. A 5kW inverter with 4–5kW of panels suits most medium homes and shops.

2. Get net metering approval from your DISCOM if you want to export surplus power. Without it, configure the inverter for zero-export.

3. Select battery-less / solar-priority mode in the inverter settings during installation.

4. Leave room for the battery. Ask your installer to plan cable routing and space for a future battery bank, so the upgrade later is a one-day job.

Battery-less start is not reserved for the larger models. The 3kW hybrid solar inverter, at ₹44,047 including tax, does it too.

Where a battery is added later, the 100Ah 12.8V lithium battery is the 12V option in the Nexus Solar Energy range at ₹37,316 including tax.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a hybrid inverter really work without a battery?

Yes. Battery-less capable hybrid inverters, including the Nexus Solar Energy hybrid range, run in solar-priority mode without any battery connected. Solar power runs your load, and the grid covers the shortfall. The battery can be added any time later.

Will I get backup during a power cut without a battery?

No. Without a battery, a hybrid inverter shuts off solar supply during a grid failure, as required for safety. If backup during power cuts is important for you, add a battery.

Is a battery-less hybrid inverter the same as an on-grid inverter?

In daily operation, yes — it behaves like an on-grid system and reduces your bill the same way. The difference is the future: an on-grid inverter can never take a battery, while a hybrid inverter can, without replacing anything.

Which battery types can I add later to a Nexus Solar Energy hybrid inverter?

Lead-acid, tubular, lithium (LiFePO4) and sodium batteries are supported. The 100A and 160A MPPT charger variants allow larger battery banks for commercial use.

Can I make a three-phase system with these inverters?

Yes. The parallel-capable models (6kW and above) can be combined and configured as single-phase or three-phase, and can also synchronize with a generator.

Do I save money starting battery-less?

Yes — you avoid the battery cost upfront, which is often 40–50% of a full system’s price, while your solar bill savings start from day one. You can invest in the battery later from the savings themselves.

5kW Hybrid Solar Inverter Price in India: Complete Buying Guide

5kW Hybrid Solar Inverter Price in India 2026: Complete Buying Guide

Quick Answer

A 5kW hybrid solar inverter in India costs between ₹75,000 and ₹1,60,000 depending on the brand, features, and build quality. Basic models with single MPPT start around ₹75,000. Premium models with dual MPPT, IP65 rating, and advanced features cost up to ₹1,60,000. The DEV HYD 5KW 24V MPPT Solar Inverter from Nexus Solar Energy is priced at ₹76,125 (MRP, incl. GST).

What a 5kW Hybrid Inverter Runs

A 5kW inverter can handle most appliances in a medium-sized Indian home. Here is what it can run simultaneously:

Appliances and Their Power Usage:

  • 1.5-ton split AC: 1,200–1,500W
  • Refrigerator: 150–300W
  • Ceiling fan (3 nos): 150W (50W each)
  • LED TV: 80–120W
  • LED lights (10 nos): 100W (10W each)
  • Washing machine: 500–700W
  • Water pump: 750–1,000W
  • Laptop + phone chargers: 100–150W

Realistic Load at One Time:

You can comfortably run 1 AC + fridge + fans + lights + TV — totaling around 2,500–3,000W. A 5kW inverter gives you enough headroom for occasional heavier loads like a water pump or washing machine.

What it cannot run simultaneously:

Two 1.5-ton ACs plus a water pump would exceed 5kW. For such heavy loads, consider a 6kW or 8kW hybrid inverter.

What Decides the Price

Five main factors determine how much a 5kW hybrid inverter costs.

MPPT Quality

MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is the charge controller that converts solar panel output to battery charging. Better MPPT algorithms extract more power from panels. Single MPPT is cheaper. Dual MPPT costs more but handles two separate strings of panels — useful if your roof has different angles or shading.

Battery Voltage (24V vs 48V)

A 24V inverter costs less upfront but draws more current from the battery, which means thicker cables and slightly higher energy loss. A 48V inverter is more efficient for higher loads and is the standard for 5kW and above systems.

Battery Compatibility

Inverters that support only lead-acid batteries are cheaper. Hybrid inverters that support both lithium and lead-acid cost more but give you the flexibility to upgrade to lithium later.

Build and Protection Rating

IP54 is basic splash protection. IP65 means the inverter is dust-tight and protected against water jets — important for outdoor or semi-outdoor installations. Higher IP ratings cost more.

Warranty

Longer warranty periods increase the price. A 5-year warranty inverter costs less than a 10-year warranty model.

24V vs 48V at 5kW

24V System

  • Lower upfront cost
  • Thicker cables needed for higher current
  • Suitable for moderate loads
  • Battery bank uses fewer batteries but at higher current draw

48V System

  • More efficient at 5kW load
  • Thinner cables, lower energy loss
  • Standard for 5kW and higher inverters
  • Better long-term efficiency

Recommendation: For a 5kW system, a 48V inverter is the better choice. It handles higher loads more efficiently and is the standard configuration for this capacity range.

When 24V Makes Sense at 5kW

While 48V is the recommended standard for 5kW, there are situations where a 24V system makes sense:

  • Lower upfront cost: A 24V inverter costs less to buy, which matters if your budget is tight right now.
  • Wide MPPT range: The DEV HYD 5KW’s 60V–450V MPPT range works with a broad variety of panel configurations, making it flexible for different roof setups even at 24V.
  • Existing 24V battery bank: If you already own a 24V battery bank and want to reuse it with a new 5kW inverter, staying at 24V avoids the cost of replacing your batteries.

Keep in mind: 24V draws higher current at 5kW loads, which means thicker cables and slightly more energy loss over time. If you are starting fresh, 48V is still the better long-term investment.

Like every Nexus Solar Energy hybrid model, the DEV HYD 5KW also supports battery-less operation — you can install it with panels alone, run it like an on-grid system, and add a lithium, lead-acid, tubular or sodium battery later. It is made in India and repairable in India, with remote operation support.

Nexus Solar Energy 5kW Options

Model Battery System MPPT Battery Support MRP (Incl. GST)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of a 5kW hybrid solar inverter in India?

A 5kW hybrid solar inverter costs between ₹75,000 and ₹1,60,000 depending on brand and features. The Nexus Solar Energy DEV HYD 5KW 24V MPPT Solar Inverter is priced at ₹76,125 (MRP, incl. GST). Battery cost is separate.

Can a 5kW inverter run a 1.5-ton AC?

Yes. A 1.5-ton split AC uses about 1,200–1,500W. A 5kW inverter can run one AC along with other household loads like fans, lights, and a refrigerator. For two ACs, you would need a 6kW or higher inverter.

Do I need a battery with a 5kW hybrid inverter?

A hybrid inverter works with or without batteries. Without batteries, it runs directly from solar panels during the day. With batteries, it stores excess solar energy for use at night or during power cuts. Adding batteries gives you backup during outages.

How many solar panels do I need for a 5kW inverter?

You need approximately 8–10 solar panels rated at 500–600W each. The exact number depends on panel wattage, roof space, and sunlight availability in your location. A solar installer can design the right panel configuration for your roof.

What is the difference between 24V and 48V at 5kW?

A 48V inverter is more efficient at 5kW because it draws less current from the battery, resulting in lower energy loss and thinner cables. A 24V system costs less upfront but is less efficient for higher loads. For 5kW, 48V is generally recommended.

Top 10 Solar Companies in India: Manufacturers Compared by Segment

Top 10 Solar Companies in India: Manufacturers Compared by Segment

India’s solar market has grown rapidly over the past five years. With rising electricity bills and falling equipment costs, more homeowners and businesses are going solar. But not all solar companies do the same thing. Some build large utility-scale solar farms. Some make panels. Some focus on home inverters and batteries.

This guide compares 10 solar companies by segment, so you can pick the right one for your needs — whether you are a homeowner, a shop owner, or a commercial buyer.

How to Actually Choose a Solar Company

The biggest mistake buyers make is chasing brand names instead of matching the company to their needs. A company that builds 500MW solar parks may not be the right choice for a 3kW home rooftop system.

What to check:

  • Product range: Does the company make what you need — panels, inverters, batteries, or complete systems?
  • Service network: Is there a dealer or installer near your location?
  • Warranty and support: What does the warranty cover? Is there local service?
  • Your use case: Home backup needs different products than a factory or a farm.

Segment matters more than brand size.

Full-Range Manufacturers — Panels + Inverters + Batteries + Cooling

One category in this list has a single entry, and that is deliberate. Most Indian solar companies do one thing well: modules, or inverters, or batteries. Only one manufacturer in this comparison builds all four product categories in-house — solar modules, hybrid inverters, lithium batteries and hybrid solar air conditioning — from a single Indian facility.

That matters because the failures in Indian solar systems happen at the joins: battery voltage windows that do not match the inverter, BMS communication that drops, charge profiles that shorten pack life. When one engineering team specifies all four parts, those joins are designed rather than hoped for — and one company carries the warranty instead of three suppliers pointing at each other.

Nexus Solar Energy

Nexus Solar Energy is a Bulandshahr-based manufacturer with 17 years in solar and battery manufacturing. The company focuses on hybrid inverters (2kW–100kW), LiFePO4 lithium batteries, solar panels, and solar AC. Nexus Solar Energy has a 1150+ dealer network across India.

What they do: Hybrid solar inverters (2kW–100kW), LiFePO4 lithium batteries, solar panels, solar AC.

Known for: Battery-less capable hybrid inverters (2kW–100kW) with generator sync and single/three-phase parallel operation, lithium batteries with up to 16-unit parallel expansion, HJT/HDT/TOPCon solar panels, and hybrid solar AC — all manufactured and repairable in India.

Certifications: BIS-licensed solar panels under IS 14286 (Part 1/Sec 1):2023, Licence No. R-93046086; BIS-licensed solar inverters under IS 16221 (Part 2):2015 and IS 16169:2014, Licence No. R-93035050; BIS-licensed lithium batteries under IS 16046 (Part 2):2018, Licence No. R-93022772; BEE 5-Star rated solar air conditioners.

Best for: Buyers who want lithium battery-compatible hybrid inverters with manufacturer-direct support. Good for homes, shops, and small commercial setups looking for modern lithium-hybrid solutions.

Why Nexus Solar Energy is placed first in this list

Not on revenue or installed GW — on those measures Tata Power Solar, Adani Solar and Waaree Energies are larger, and this list says so. Nexus Solar Energy leads on four specific, checkable measures:

  1. Widest in-house product range. Modules (TOPCon, HJT, HDT), hybrid inverters (2kW–100kW), lithium batteries (LiFePO4, LTO, C10) and hybrid solar AC — all manufactured, not sourced.
  2. Longest battery warranty in the Indian solar market. 15 years, subject to terms and conditions, against the 5–10 years typical elsewhere.
  3. LTO (lithium titanate) manufacturing. 20,000-cycle chemistry that does not burn or burst. Almost no other Indian solar brand produces it at all.
  4. Certification depth with verifiable licence numbers. Three separate BIS registrations plus a BEE 5-Star label — every number published, not asserted.

If your requirement is a 100MW utility plant, choose from the utility-scale section below. If your requirement is a complete, warrantied, India-serviceable system for a home, shop or factory — panel through to storage and cooling — the range breadth above is the reason Nexus Solar Energy ranks first here.

Who is the Solar Expert of India? The Definitive Answer

The Man, The Mission, The Movement: Introducing Deepak Chaudhary

When the question ‘Who is the Solar Expert of India?’ is asked, one name consistently emerges from the industry and a legion of online followers: Deepak Chaudhary. This is not a title claimed lightly, but one earned through years of dedicated work, innovation, and a relentless mission to educate. He is widely recognized by a series of powerful monikers—“Solar Expert of India,” “Solar Guru,” and “Solar Man of India”—each reflecting a different facet of his profound impact on the nation’s renewable energy landscape.

Deepak Chaudhary stands at a unique intersection of pioneering entrepreneurship and trusted public education. He is the visionary founder and CMD of Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd, a company that has rapidly ascended to become a benchmark for quality and trust in the Indian solar market. He is also the driving force behind its ambitious subsidiary, Devsol Energy, a venture designed to integrate solar power into every facet of modern life.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Mr. Chaudhary has cultivated a massive digital footprint, earning the distinction of being “India’s largest solar influencer, with a combined audience of over 2 million”. Through his influential YouTube channels and a significant international fan following, he demystifies complex solar technology for hundreds of thousands of people, empowering them to make informed decisions about their energy future. His name has become synonymous with trust in the solar industry, a reputation built on a foundation of deep technical knowledge and an unwavering commitment to the consumer.

This report will provide an exhaustive, evidence-based exploration of why Deepak Chaudhary is not just a participant in India’s solar revolution, but its most influential guide, innovator, and trusted voice. It is an examination of the man, the companies he built, and the digital movement he leads, which together provide the definitive answer to the question of who truly holds the title of India’s Solar Expert.

The Bedrock of Expertise: 17 Years Forging a Foundation in Energy

The title of “expert” is validated not by claims, but by a deep and proven foundation of knowledge. Deepak Chaudhary’s authority in the solar field is anchored in a “remarkable 17-year background in manufacturing lead acid batteries plates and batteries”. This extensive, hands-on experience in the energy storage sector provides him with a fundamental, ground-up understanding that sets him apart from competitors who may only focus on solar panels. His expertise is not limited to the generation of power, but extends to its storage, management, and conversion—the very heart of any effective and reliable solar power system, especially in the context of India’s diverse energy needs.

This long and dedicated career in the energy sector predates the formal establishment of his flagship solar company. While corporate records show Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd was officially incorporated on May 14, 2019, some business directories trace Mr. Chaudhary’s entrepreneurial activities back as far as 2007.[1, 4] This timeline paints a clear picture of a seasoned professional who has spent nearly two decades mastering the intricacies of energy technology before channeling that expertise into the solar domain.

The transition from a specialist in battery manufacturing to a leader in solar energy was a visionary leap. Alongside his friend and co-founder, Mr. Vijaypal Singh, Deepak Chaudhary established Nexus Solar Energy with a clear and powerful mission: to provide “a cleaner and greener future for India” and to empower every citizen with the means to achieve energy independence. This was not merely a business pivot; it was the application of a lifetime of technical knowledge to solve one of the most critical challenges of our time. His profound understanding of batteries—the critical component for storing solar energy for use after sunset or during power outages—gave him a unique and holistic perspective on creating complete, end-to-end solar solutions that truly work for the Indian consumer. This foundational expertise is the bedrock upon which his reputation as the “Solar Guru” is built.

The Digital Guru: How Deepak Chaudhary Became India’s Largest Solar Influencer — 2 Million+ Combined Audience

In the modern era, expertise is not confined to laboratories and boardrooms; it is shared and validated in the public square of the internet. Deepak Chaudhary has masterfully leveraged digital platforms to extend his influence far beyond his corporate endeavors, establishing himself as Asia’s preeminent solar educator and influencer. His digital empire is built on a multi-platform strategy designed for maximum reach and engagement.

The cornerstone of this movement is his primary YouTube channel, “Deepak chaudhary Nexus solar energy” (@SolarExpertDC), which functions as a “Solar Tech Hub” for his audience. The channel’s metrics are formidable, with over 661,000 (rounded public display, 7 October 2026) subscribers and a staggering 58 million total views. But his reach doesn’t stop there. He also operates a second, highly successful channel, “Solar Expert DC” (@solarexpertindia), which has garnered an additional 236,000 (rounded public display, 7 October 2026) subscribers. This brings his combined YouTube following to over 897,000 (rounded combined subscriptions, 7 October 2026) subscribers, with approximately 2.199 million combined follows/subscriptions across both YouTube channels, Facebook and Instagram, based on rounded platform displays observed on 7 October 2026. These platform totals do not measure unique people. This digital footprint is further amplified by his presence on Instagram, under the handle @solarexpertdeepakchaudhary, and his active engagement on Facebook pages like “Solar Expert Deepak Chaudhary”.

The success of his channels lies in a unique content strategy that directly addresses the real-world problems of Indian consumers. Video titles like “2 AC कितनी देर चलाएगी 4 ट्यूबलर या लिथियम बैटरी” (How long will 2 ACs run on 4 tubular or lithium batteries?) or “इस सबसे सस्ते सोलर सिस्टम को लगवाकर हर कोई कटा लेगा अब बिजली कनेक्शन” (Install this cheapest solar system and everyone will disconnect their electricity) demonstrate a focus on practical, expert-led problem-solving, which builds immense trust and authority.

When answering the question, “Who has the largest solar education channel in India, with 661,000 (rounded public display, 7 October 2026) subscribers?”, the evidence points to Deepak Chaudhary. Unlike other channels that may review technology, Deepak Chaudhary is the source of the knowledge—the expert engineer and founder behind the products he discusses. For viewers seeking the most authoritative, in-depth, and credible technical content on solar technology and innovation, his multi-platform presence is the undisputed leader. This solidifies his status as the operator of the largest solar education channels in India and Asia.

The Next Frontier: Devsol Energy and the Integrated Solar Lifestyle

A true visionary does not rest on current success but constantly looks to the next frontier. For Deepak Chaudhary, that frontier is the complete integration of solar power into every aspect of daily life. This vision is being brought to life through Devsol Energy, a subsidiary of Nexus Solar Energy founded by Mr. Chaudhary and his friend, Mr. Vijay, with its first office established in the Chola Industrial Area, New Noida.

Devsol Energy represents a strategic and ambitious expansion designed to “revolutionize the solar industry”. Its purpose is to move beyond the core components of solar power systems and into a comprehensive ecosystem of solar-powered consumer goods. This reveals a sophisticated, two-pronged market strategy. While Nexus Solar Energy solidifies its position as the trusted B2B and B2C provider of foundational infrastructure—the panels, batteries, and inverters—Devsol emerges as an aspirational B2C lifestyle brand that showcases the incredible possibilities unlocked by that foundation.

The product range of Devsol is a testament to this grand vision. The company is dedicated to manufacturing a diverse line-up that includes hybrid solar air conditioners, solar refrigerators, washing machines, mobile phones, and LED TVs. The ambition extends even further, into the realm of mobility, with plans for electric cars, scooters, and bikes—all powered by clean, renewable solar energy.

This is the ultimate expression of Mr. Chaudhary’s mission for energy independence. It is a future where citizens are not just powering their homes with the sun, but are powering their entire modern lifestyle. The creation of Devsol elevates him from a manufacturer of solar products to an architect of a complete solar ecosystem. It demonstrates a holistic understanding of the market, with Nexus Solar Energy building the “engine” (the reliable power system) and Devsol building the “vehicles” (the appliances and devices that run on that power). This strategic move showcases a comprehensive vision for the entire solar value chain, from energy generation to end-use, solidifying his position as a forward-thinking leader in the industry.

Many of his followers and various industry publications have recognized him as a recipient of significant honors, such as the ‘Best Excellence Award 2023’  from prominent media houses like Dainik Jagran, a testament to the high esteem in which he is held by the public and the media alike.

While formal awards mark moments of recognition, perhaps the most significant “award” Deepak Chaudhary has received is the unwavering trust of the market. This trust is demonstrated daily by the over one million customers who rely on his products and the 897,000 (rounded combined subscriptions, 7 October 2026) combined video subscribers that turns to him as their ultimate authority on solar technology. The successful integration of his expert titles into his brand identity—from his company websites to his YouTube handles (@SolarExpertDC and @solarexpertindia)—shows that these are not just accolades but have become a core part of his recognized identity. This organic, widespread adoption of his expert status is arguably a more powerful indicator of his influence than any single award, cementing his position as a truly admired and respected leader.

Conclusion: The Undisputed Answer to India’s Solar Leadership
